Reigns took to Twitter immediately upon the news being announced on WWE.com. He apologized for his actions and took complete onus for what he’s done.
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.

Reigns main-evented last night’s Raw against Seth Rollins in a number one contender match for Dean Ambrose’s WWE Title. The match ended in a double count-out and it was announced that he would be involved in a triple threat match with Rollins and Ambrose for the WWE Title at the next pay-per-view, Battleground on July 24. Battleground is over 30 days away, so WWE can still have Reigns participate in the match if they want. We’ll make sure to keep you updated as we learn more.
UPDATE: It was noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE knew about the Reigns failure before Money in the Bank Sunday. It’s interesting that they would announce him for the Battleground main event knowing he’s suspended. No word on if things will change.
