Roman Reigns delivered some shocking news on last night’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw in Providence when he told the world that he has had leukemia (a form of cancer) for the past 11 years. He beat it the first time, but it is back now and as a result, Reigns had to forfeit the WWE Universal Championship last night on Raw. Reigns said he would return to WWE one day, but we don’t know if that’s true. All we can do is hope and pray for a married father of three to beat this leukemia.
The video of Reigns surrendering the Universal Title has about 5 million views on Youtube right now.
Today, Reigns went on Twitter to thank the fans (or the WWE Universe) for supporting him in this difficult time.
Thank you to everyone who’s reached out…I can’t put into words what it means to me.
Your energy and positivity motivate me to get better quickly to get back in the ring, but for now I’m going to spend time with my family and focus on health.
Thank you – Joe/Roman

As you would expect, a lot of Reigns’ colleagues in WWE posted messages of support for Reigns including Vince McMahon. Here are a bunch of those comments.
