The John Report: WWE Raw Deal 08/18/25 Review
It’s WWE Raw featuring Naomi addressing the crowd, Jey Uso facing Bron Breakker, Becky Lynch against Natalya, and more.
The WWE Clash in Paris PLE is less than two weeks away on August 31st. The next two weeks of Raw are in Birmingham, England, and Paris, France, so those should be great crowds.
The AAA TripleMania 33 event took place on Saturday, and I wrote about it here, but it’s not a full review. It was a fun event, and a lot of WWE stars were a part of it.
This is the Raw Deal for episode #1682 of Monday Night Raw. It’s taking place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. Follow me on Twitter/X @johnreport. Let’s get to it.
A video package aired showing highlights of last week’s Raw when Seth Rollins’ group, The Vision, stood tall to end the show for the second week in a row. The World Title match at Clash in Paris is Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight…yeah.
There was pre-show walking shown of Jey Uso and his sister-in-law Naomi, who will address the Women’s World Title situation.
It is Michael Cole on commentary with Corey Graves. I assume Pat McAfee isn’t coming back any time soon, and that’s okay with me. Nothing against Pat, but I like Corey better. Alicia Taylor was the ring announcer as usual.

Let’s Hear from Seth Rollins and The Vision
The Vision’s World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins made his entrance, joined by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed (with two pairs of Roman Reigns’ shoes), and “The Oracle,” WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman said that he is not in God mode because in this city, he is God. Heyman said that they would have a statue of him in this city, but he’s too humble to accept it for everything he has done in this business on screen and behind the scenes. Heyman claimed that he was The GOAT (Greatest of All Time). Heyman addressed the well-tanned Bron Breakker, calling him the Future of WrestleMania, and he taught Roman Reigns to fear the Spear. Heyman said Bron is the Big Dog, and this is his yard. Heyman talked about the owner of the Shoe-la-fala and the Master of the Shoe-nami (or Tsunami), and he put Roman Reigns down, and Roman was not man enough to get back up…it’s the Tribal Thief “Big” Bronson Reed. Heyman also talked about Seth Rollins talking about how he’s beaten Roman Reigns twice in the main event of WrestleMania. Anyway, Heyman introduced Rollins as if we didn’t know who he was.
Analysis: Do we need a five-minute rundown of the names of these guys? I think the fans know. I get that it’s a heel promo done to annoy the fans, but it’s just killing time, and I’d hit fast forward if I weren’t watching live.
Jey Uso interrupted before Seth Rollins said a word. Jey was in the crowd with the fans as he did his Yeeting entrance. Jey had a microphone, and he got some kids to say “Yeet” repeatedly. Jey said he was tired of hearing them talk, and Seth mentioned he didn’t talk. Jey said he was tired of them threatening his family. Jey spoke about how he’s got next because he tapped out Gunther at WrestleMania. Jey said that “puppy dog” Bron hears him because he knows he’s messing with Jey tonight.
Seth Rollins told Bron Breakker that Jey thinks he is better than Bron and that he can beat Bron tonight. Rollins kept on firing up Bron, saying that Jey believes his family is cooler than Bron’s family, and Seth kept on riling Bron down. Bron nearly left the ring, but Seth and his buddies held him back.
Heyman said you want to pull this on them in Philadelphia? Heyman said that in a bingo hall not that far away…and there were some “ECW” chants. Heyman said that men would settle their grievances inside the ring and there’d be a specific kind of match. Heyman said that there were no disqualifications, no countouts, and winning by pinfall or submission only. Heyman mentioned Sandman, New Jack, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, the late, great Tommy Dreamer (“I know he’s not dead yet, but he should be”), The Dudley Boyz…and Jey interrupted. Jey said that the only rules he needs tonight are Extreme Rules. Jey got the crowd to say “Yeet” to end it.
Analysis: The Jey Uso/Bron Breakker match was already announced, so now it’s an Extreme Rules Match. It gives the match a different feel than a standard match, and it’s also going to lead to some interference. At least it’s different from a normal match, and at least it’s not another tag team main event. I’m good with Jey against Bron in the main event spot.
There was a replay showing Iyo Sky wasn’t happy about Asuka and Kairi Sane accidentally costing her a match against Roxanne Perez last week.
Iyo Sky was shown getting ready for her match. Asuka and Kairi Sane walked up to her. Asuka said she’s sorry about last week. Sane said to let her know if Sky needs help. Asuka said they will always have her back. Sky said she knows, but Sky said she needs to do it on her own.
Analysis: It has the makings of a heel turn for Asuka, just based on how it is booked, and Asuka could be jealous of Sky being in a main event role.
The entrances of Iyo Sky and Raquel Rodriguez took place during the break for some fans. They also showed the Bayley video from last week.

Raquel Rodriguez (w/Roxanne Perez) vs. Iyo Sky
The powerhouse Raquel hit a body slam. Raquel tossed Sky across the ring. Raquel worked over Sky with a hard whip into the turnbuckle. Sky got some offense going with a hurricanrana, followed by a dropkick and a roundhouse kick to the head. Perez tripped up Sky, so Raquel hit Sky with a boot to the face. They went to a break for some fans as Raquel dominated for about three minutes during that break.
Sky made the comeback with a dropkick. Sky went to the apron, hit Raquel with a forearm, and Sky hit a missile dropkick. Sky went for the running knee attack, but Raquel blocked it, and Raquel hit a Samoan Drop for two. Raquel hit an elbow drop off the turnbuckle for a two count. Sky countered Raquel and hit a double foot stomp. Sky jumped off the top with a moonsault, Raquel moved and Sky landed on her feet. Raquel hit a running clothesline for two. Sky kicked Raquel and Sky jumped off the turnbuckle, leading to a Tornado DDT. Sky jumped out of the ring and hit a suicide dive, cross-body block onto Perez on the floor. Sky tried a suicide dive cross-body block on Raquel, but Raquel caught her. Raquel sent Sky into the ring post. Sky countered a Tejana Bomb with a hurricanrana into the turnbuckle. Sky hit the Bullet Train double knee attack. Sky went up top and hit Over the Moonsault on Raquel for the pinfall win after 11 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Iyo Sky
Analysis: ***1/4 Good match between two women who know eachother well from their time in NXT together. It’s one of those classic matches where it’s easy to tell a story with the powerhouse Raquel dominating most of the match, but Sky was able to come back and get the win. I liked Sky’s counter moves throughout the match.
After the match, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez attacked Sky. Perez hit a superkick on Sky. Rhea Ripley made the save and sent Perez out of the ring. Sky hit a missile dropkick on Raquel. Ripley kicked Raquel over the top to the floor.
Analysis: That could lead to jealousy by Asuka and Kairi Sane because Iyo Sky didn’t want their help, but Rhea Ripley was there to help Sky instead.

LA Knight was about to be interviewed by Jackie Redmond, but CM Punk interrupted. Punk told Knight that they had to be on the same page here. Knight said that Punk got involved in Knight’s two championship opportunities. Punk said that they need to stick together and have some cohesion with Jey watching eachother’s backs. Knight didn’t like that idea. Knight said that he’ll be holding up the World Heavyweight Title in the air when they get to Paris and everybody will be saying LA Knight…yeah.
Analysis: CM Punk wants them on the same page to handle The Vision, but LA Knight doesn’t see things that way.
Xavier Woods made his entrance with The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller, who some people might call Big G. I might not call him that, but other people might do that.
The New Day did a promo during the break for some fans. Waller told the fans to “close their obese mouths” while they mourn the Tag Team Titles. Kofi said that it has been 50 days since they had the Tag Team Titles stolen from them. Kofi mentioned the Philadelphia 76ers are the biggest losers in all of sports (the Eagles are pretty good, just saying). Woods said that this city cheers for losers, which is why they might cheer for Penta. Woods claimed that Penta ruined his $18,000 hat, so he’ll beat the pesos out of Penta. Kofi told the fans to be thankful for that and thank God for that. Woods ended it with his line, “Thank God for The New Day.”
Analysis: The usual heel New Day promo. I liked it.
A video package aired about AAA TripleMania 33 from Saturday night in Mexico City. It drew over 4 million viewers. It was free on YouTube, so that helps. If somebody watches it on YouTube for about 10 seconds, it counts as a view, so there’s no indication about how many people watched the full show.
Iyo Sky was backstage talking to Rhea Ripley when Asuka and Kairi Sane showed up. Asuka said that Ripley can help Sky, but Asuka and Sane can’t? Asuka and Ripley argued. Sky screamed in Japanese and left angrily. Asuka told Ripley to stay out of their business. Sane let out a deep sigh and left.
Analysis: The drama continues, leaving Iyo Sky frustrated about the whole thing. It’s not the most compelling storyline, but if it leads to a heel turn for Asuka and maybe Sane then that could turn out to be pretty good.

Penta vs. Xavier Woods (w/Kofi Kingston & Grayson Waller)
Penta did his “Cero Miedo” hand taunt, so Woods bit his hand/glove. Penta set up Woods against the turnbuckle, but Woods avoided a kick. Woods kicked Penta on the apron. Woods hit a belly-to-back suplex on the apron. They went to break for some fans as the action continued. Woods sent Penta into the barricade and into the steel steps. Woods remained in control for a few minutes.
Woods remained in control with a necksnap across the top rope. Woods did a Flair strut over Penta’s body. Woods hit a kick to the face for a two count. Penta got some momentum going with two kicks to the body and Slingblade. Penta hit a flipping backbreaker onto the knee. Penta went on the ring post and jumped onto Woods and Waller on the floor with a cross body block. Penta kicked Woods in the head, followed by a handstand kick to the chest for two. Woods countered Penta and hit a reverse suplex for a two count. Woods hit some chops. Penta charged, Woods got a boot up, and Penta countered a Woods move, leading to a Penta Driver for two because Kofi put Woods’ foot on the bottom rope. The referee didn’t see Kofi get involved. Penta jumped off Xavier’s back and hit a somersault dive over the top onto Kofi & Waller on the floor. Woods got an inside cradle for two. Penta hit a kick to the face. Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer for the pinfall win after 10 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Penta
Analysis: *** It was a competitive match that felt fresh because we hadn’t seen these guys in a singles match before. I would have liked to see Woods get a cheap nearfall or two because he really didn’t have a moment where you might think he would win. Use the guys on the floor to get a cheap nearfall. Anyway, Penta got the win thanks to his usual exciting offense. I thought that maybe New Day would try to help Woods win and Penta would need help, which could lead to his brother Rey Fenix coming to Raw, but that didn’t happen here.

After the match, Penta left the ring to avoid getting attacked by Kofi and Waller.
At AAA TripleMania, AJ Styles cost Dominik Mysterio the Grand Championship, so a clip was shown of Dominik complaining about it. Rey Mysterio mocked his son, Dirty Dom, about the loss. Dominik will get a shot at the AAA Grand Championship held by El Hijo Del Vikingo at WWE-AAA Worlds Collide on September 12th.
The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & JD McDonagh entered as the World Tag Team Champions, along with Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio.
There wasn’t much of a reaction for Dragon Lee, but the fans did pop for Mr. Iguana with his pet iguana.
Next week’s Raw has a 3 p.m. ET start time on Netflix since it’s in Birmingham, England, with an 8 p.m. ET start time locally. I like early start times.
They showed some Philadelphia Eagles at ringside holding the Super Bowl trophy. As an LA Rams fan, I say thanks for holding the trophy that is going back to my team this season.

The Judgment Day – Finn Balor & JD McDonagh (w/Dominik Mysterio) vs. Dragon Lee & Mr. Iguana
The J-Day guys are World Tag Team Champions, but those titles are not on the line. Lee did a dragon screw leg whip on JD by the turnbuckle. JD worked over Lee with forearms to the face. Balor worked over Lee with a chop, but Lee came back with a kick. Lee jumped over the top and kicked Balor. Iguana tagged in with a double axhandle to the arm. Balor clotheslined Iguana, followed by a suplex. Balor stomped on Igauna and hit a body slam. Iguana hit a couple of arm drags and a dropkick. The heels were on the floor, so Lee and Iguana each hit somersault dives over the top on the floor. They went to a break as the heels took over for a few minutes.
It was JD battling Lee as Lee hit a suplex. JD hit a Poison Rana on Lee, and Lee hit a Liger Bomb. Iguana tagged in against Balor with La Yesca (Iguana doll) and he hit Balor with La Yesca a few times. Iguana kicked JD out of the ring. Lee tagged in, and Iguana jumped off the top, leading to a dive onto JD on the floor. Balor hit a reverse DDT on Lee, but Iguana made the save. JD sent Iguana out of the ring and JD hit a moonsault on Iguana on the floor. Lee got a rollup on Balor for two. Balor hit a Slingblade. Balor charged and Lee kicked him. Lee tried another attack, but Dominik held onto Lee, so Balor dropkicked Lee into the turnbuckle. Balor hit a Coup de Grace double foot stomp off the top onto Lee for the pinfall win after about 10 minutes.
Winners by pinfall: The Judgment Day – Finn Balor & JD McDonagh
Analysis: *** It was a good tag team match to give the champions the win, thanks to Dominik getting involved. I thought we might see AJ Styles again to go after Dominik, but there was no sign of Styles here. Mr. Iguana had some fun moments in the match and the fans like him. However, the champs found a way to get the win.
After the match, The Judgment Day beat up Iguana and Lee. Dominik was on the commentary table, but El Hijo Del Vikingo was there and he dropkicked Dominik. Vikingo dropkicked Balor at ringside. Vikingo dropkicked JD in the ring. Vikingo hit a running knee smash on JD. Dominik hit Vikingo with the AAA Grand Title in the back. Balor gave Lee a body slam. Dominik went up top and hit a Frog Splash on Vikingo. Dom held up the IC Title and AAA Grand Title while Balor & JD held up the World Tag Team Titles.
Analysis: A cheap attack by The Judgment Day guys to give Dominik the advantage over Vikingo going into their match at Worlds Collide. I think Dom will win the AAA Grand Title at Worlds Collide.
A clip was shown of Becky Lynch beating Maxxine Dupri after the match. After the match, Natalya checked on her friend Dupri and Lynch kicked Natalya to knock her down with a cheap shot.
The Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch was interviewed by Jackie Redmond, who asked why Lynch attacked Natalya. Lynch claimed that Natalya attacked her. Lynch ranted about how Natalya shoved her aggressively, and Lynch claimed she was defending herself. Lynch said that Natalya knows she doesn’t belong in the ring with her. Lynch said welcome back to the big time.
Natalya was shown backstage walking with Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa for that women’s match up next.
A video package aired during the break for some fans featuring the John Cena-Logan Paul story to set up their Clash in Paris match.
There was a Bayley video saying she doesn’t know if anything she is saying makes sense. As she spoke, her heel persona from the past talked about how she hasn’t been making sense. The heel Bayley persona said she was a double champion and the longest reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion. Heel Bayley called her a loser. Heel Bayley said she is there to help and told Bayley to listen to her while Bayley was in the chair, and told her to stop. After Bayley put her hands on her ears, the voice stopped. Bayley said she didn’t know what she needed. The heel Bayley voice said: “How about a hug?” That was a reference to her original Bayley run.
Analysis: I think it’s fair to assume that Bayley is going to be turning heel soon because of the success she had as a heel in the past. Since she’s struggling as a face, the voices in her head are telling her to go back to her heel ways. I’m all for it.

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch vs. Natalya (w/Maxxine Dupri & Akira Tozawa)
It was the usual look for Natalya, who was in the badass “Nattie” mode at TripleMania.
Natalya was aggressive for pin attempts that got two counts. Lynch avoided a clothesline, but Natalya came back with a German Suplex. Natalya dropkicked Lynch on the floor and into the barricade. Lynch sent Natalya hard into the ring post. The referee checked on her. Lynch went after Natalya by sending her into the barricade and into the commentary table. Lynch sent Natalya into the steel steps. They were into the break for some fans as Lynch hit some chops and a kick to the body. Lynch wrenched on Natalya’s left arm by the ropes. Lynch kept on working over Natalya’s left arm.
The match continued with Natalya trying to fight back, but Lynch pulled on the injured left arm. Lynch applied a cross armbreaker, so Natalya tried to block it. Natalya picked up Lynch and hit a Powerbomb to get out of it. Natalya used her right arm to get some offense going with a snapmare, a step onto the back and kick to the head. Lynch kicked the left arm again, but Natalya came back with a discus clothesline for two. Lynch pulled on Natalya’s arm against the ropes again. Lynch kicked Dupri on the floor and Lynch kicked Tozawa on the floor. Natalya got a rollup for two and Lynch got a rollup for two. Lynch pulled on Natalya’s left arm by the ropes. Lynch applied the Disarm-her on the left arm, so Natalya tapped out with the right arm. It went about 11 minutes.
Winner by submission: Becky Lynch
Analysis: ***1/4 It was another good match on this show with two veteran women who know eachother well. Lynch worked on Natalya’s left arm throughout the match, Natalya did a great job of selling the left arm and tried to come back, but she wasn’t able to get it done.
After the match, Becky Lynch held onto the Disarm-her on Natalya after the bell rang. Maxxine Dupri checked on Natalya, so Lynch knocked Dupri down and Natalya was sent out of the ring. Lynch applied the Disarm-her to Dupri, so Nikki Bella made the save. Nikki was wearing some Philadelphia Eagles colors since she’s a fan of the team. Nikki hit the Rack Attack 2.0 on Lynch. The fans popped for that.
Analysis: That’s a good spot for Nikki Bella getting a big pop and continuing her rivalry with Becky Lynch.

Sheamus was interviewed by Jackie Redmond, who talked about Sheamus and his issues with Rusev. Sheamus talked about how Rusev ran into problems when he came across this big, ginger fella. Rusev approached Sheamus down the hallway. Raw GM Adam Pearce was backstage while security guys held Sheamus and Rusev back. Pearce said they can settle this in a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match at Clash in Paris. Sheamus and Rusev seemed to like that.
Analysis: That should be an awesome match and I’m glad they are getting a PLE match out of the Sheamus-Rusev rivalry.
There is a bonus edition of Stephanie McMahon’s “What Your Story?” podcast with Naomi and Jimmy Uso. It’s available after Raw. A clip was shown of that.
Vic Joseph, the NXT play-by-play man, was in a skybox interviewing TNA World Champion, NXT’s Trick Williams. This was during the break for some fans. Trick said that his NXT opponent this week Je’Von Evans isn’t ready for him. Je’Von Evans walked in and Trick said he would see him tomorrow. Evans said that he feels excited. Evans said he has more confidence than ever because he’ll beat Trick and be the youngest NXT Champion in history.
Jey Uso was in the locker room getting ready. Punk said that he had Jey’s back tonight. Jey said he didn’t want his help and he didn’t owe anybody any favors. Punk said okay, but he’s letting Jey know that Punk is here for him.

Naomi Addresses Women’s World Championship
The Raw GM, Adam Pearce, was in the ring and he introduced the Women’s World Champion, Naomi. Proceed with caution for the champion in her black and yellow look. Naomi was supposed to defend the Women’s World Title against Iyo Sky, but she was not cleared, and there’s been a lot of speculation about why. Pearce said that the floor is yours to Naomi. The fans cheered for her because they could tell she looked emotional.
Naomi said that this is hard to say and said to take a look at the tron. They showed the clip from Stephanie McMahon’s interview with them. Naomi was with her husband, Jimmy Uso, on the couch. Jimmy said that you need to proceed with caution because there is a baby on board. They are pregnant. Jimmy said, “We pregnant.” Naomi said, “I’m pregnant and I’m having a baby.”
The fans in the arena were cheering. Hell yeah! That’s awesome news. I’m so happy for Naomi and Jimmy. They’ve been married for over a decade, and it’s their first child together. Pearce said we are so happy for you and congratulations.
Naomi said that she bets you are happy for her. Naomi said it’s not her first time relinquishing a title. Naomi said that this time she ain’t handing him shit! Naomi said that her hormones are jumping like a disco, so she advises him to get out of her face. Naomi told Pearce to get out of there. Naomi got the crowd to sing, “Na na na hey hey goodbye” to Pearce.
Naomi told the women in the locker room to thank one person — and there were “Big Jim” chants. Naomi said that without him, there was no way they would take the title off her. Naomi said that she was going to put the heffers in the ground, but Big Jim likes to Netflix and Chill if you know what she means. The fans chanted, “You deserve it” for Naomi, who was getting emotional. Naomi said that on the bright side, “I guess the Bloodline continues, baby….(laughs).” The fans chanted, “OTC” after that. The fans were chanting “Baby Uso” for the baby.
Naomi said she was going to lay her title down in the ring. Naomi said she’ll give the heffers nine months and some change, and even if she has to come back with a baby in her arms, she’s going to come back to pick up where she left off. Naomi said whoever has that title when she comes back, she strongly advises you to proceed with caution! The fans cheered.
The announcers congratulated Naomi on the baby news. Corey congratulated Jon and Trin (Trinity), which are Jimmy and Naomi’s real names.
Analysis: Congratulations to Naomi and husband Jimmy Uso. I would have liked to see Jimmy with his wife there. I think most of us could guess that was the announcement based on how the whole thing was kept quiet last week. Jimmy has two kids from before he was with Naomi, but this is Jimmy and Naomi’s first baby together. I’m very happy for them since they’ve been married for over a decade, and it’s wonderful news for them as a family. I liked how Naomi was in character with Pearce, and then she was also emotional talking to the fans. I’ll miss Naomi as a performer, but it’s a great reason to miss some time. When Naomi gets back, she’ll kick ass again, I’m sure, but for now, focus on staying healthy, having that baby, and giving your child the best life possible. Congrats again to Jimmy and Naomi.
Next week on Raw in Birmingham:
* Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez
* Kofi Kingston vs. Penta
This Friday on Smackdown in Dublin: John Cena will be live. That’s in the afternoon for me on Netflix in Canada, but at the usual time for those of you in the US on USA Network.
Bron Breakker was shown walking backstage with Paul Heyman for the main event up next.
Nikki Bella was interviewed by Byron Saxton in the skybox. This was during a break. Nikki congratulated Naomi on the baby news. Nikki warned Becky Lynch about attacking her friends. Nikki gave a shoutout for the Philadelphia Eagles. Nikki called out Lynch for a face-to-face next week while Nikki bragged about her Hall of Fame ring. Nikki said she’d see Lynch next week on Raw in Birmingham and Nikki left.
The Judgment Day was shown walking backstage and they wondered where Dominik Mysterio was. Dom was talking to El Grande Americano. Finn Balor asked Dom what that was all about. Dom said he was making sure The Judgment Day stays on top. Balor didn’t seem thrilled about that.
Analysis: I think it could lead to issues since Finn Balor thinks of himself as the leader of J-Day, but there’s Dominik talking to Grande for some reason.
It was main event time as Jey Uso made his entrance first, followed by Bron Breakker with Paul Heyman.

Extreme Rules Match: Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker (w/Paul Heyman)
Jey brought out a shopping cart of weapons. They did a spot early on where Jey clotheslined Bron over the top onto the shopping cart full of weapons. That sounded and looked painful for Bron’s legs. Jey brought out a table from under the ring with the Slim Jim logos on each side. Jey punched Bron out of the ring and Bron was selling the right knee injury, but it could be a legit injury as well. Jey hit a suicide dive on Bron on the floor. They went to a break for some fans as Jey tossed trash cans, many chairs and kendo sticks into the ring. Bron was still on the floor for nearly two minutes. When Jey tried a suicide dive, Bron hit Jey in the left arm with a steel chair. Bron looked like he was moving around better as he hit Jey in the back with a kendo stick. Bron hit Jey with a trash can to the back.
The match continued as Bron worked over Jey with multiple chair jabs to the ribs. Bron wedged a chair against the turnbuckle, so Jey sent Bron into the chair and Bron’s arm went smashing into the chair. Jey worked over Bron with punches. Jey charged at Bron, who came back with a lariat to knock Jey down. Bron set up two open chairs in the ring and Bron sent Jey ribs-first onto the chairs. Bron set up Jey by the commentary table. Bron was on the apron and grabbed a trash can that he used to hit Jey in the head. Bron and Jey went crashing over the commentary table at ringside. Bron set up Jey for a move through the hood of the commentary table, but Jey gave Bron a back body drop through the hood of the commentary table. Jey slowly went up top, but Bron stopped him there.
Bron went after Jey on the top turnbuckle, Jey knocked him down and Bron jumped to the top for the Frankensteiner that led to a two count. Bron ran the ropes quickly, but Jey was ready with a Spear of his own and Jey got a two count. Jey smashed Bron with two chair shots to the back. Jey hit Bron with another chair to the back. Jey hit another Sper on Bron. Jey went up top and hit an Uso Splash on Bron for just two because here’s Bronson Ree to pull the referee out of the ring. Bron even pulled the referee Chad Patton’s shoe off. There’s the expected interference as Reed punched Jey and hit a Death Valley Driver. LA Knight went down to the ring to fight with Reed. Knight punched Reed out of the ring and sent Reed into the commentary table repeatedly. Knight sent Reed into the steel steps. Seth Rollins appeared in his flowery outfit and beat up Knight. Rollins sent Knight into the barricade. Rollins hit Jey with a Pedigree, but the official was still down.
CM Punk made his way down to ringside and he got into a brawl with Rollins. Punk and Knight took turns punching Rollins. Knight kicked Reed into the barricade at ringside. Punk tried a GTS, but Rollins gouged Punk’s face. Rollins sent Punk into Knight on the apron, so Knight went through a table at ringside. Punk knocked Rollins over the barricade, and they went fighting to the back.
The match continued as Bron put a table into the ring and Jey was trying to get back up. Jey superkicked Bron two times and put Bron on a table in the ring. Reed was back up to shove Jey down to the floor. The fans were chanting “OTC” and “Roman Reigns” multiple times because they knew he was advertised…and there he was…it’s Roman Reigns about 2 hours and 30 minutes into the show.
Roman Reigns appeared at ringside, Bron ran around the ring and Reigns hit him with a Spear. Reigns nailed Reed with a Superman Punch. Reigns put Bron into the ring. Jey superkicked Bron and put him on the table. Jey went up top and hit an Uso Splash on Bron through the table. Jey covered for the pinfall win after 21 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Jey Uso
Analysis: ***1/2 I enjoyed the match and it was different than everything else since it was Extreme Rules, so that always helps. The interference was predictable since it fits The Vision as a group and also because we knew Roman Reigns was advertised, so the fans were chanting for him, and he got a huge reaction as usual. Jey getting the win made sense since he’s in the World Title match at Clash in Paris while Breakker is not.
After the match, Roman Reigns celebrated with his cousin Jey Uso. The fans were singing the Jey Uso theme song while Reigns trash-talked Reed, who was in the aisle. Reigns told Reed he’ll see him in Paris and Reed said he’ll take his shoes in Paris. Reigns and Reed had a staredown from a distance while Heyman held Reed back. Reigns continued to celebrate with Jey. That was the end of the show.
Analysis: I figured it would be Roman Reigns against Bronson Reed at Clash in Paris due to Reed stealing Roman’s shoes two times. The ending was okay because at least it’s different than the usual heel domination to end the show.
This week’s Raw had a runtime of 2 hours and 31 minutes on Netflix.

Final Thoughts on WWE Raw
I thought it was a better show compared to last week. Every match was good and they did a better job with finishes instead of doing cheap DQ endings and rollups.
