The John Report: WWE-AAA Worlds Collide 2025 Review

WWE AAA Worlds Collide Review tjrwrestling

This is WWE-AAA Worlds Collide featuring El Hijo Del Vikingo against Chad Gable in the main event, plus two six-man tags and a NXT North American Title match.

The WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event aired at 12 p.m. locally in Los Angeles, which was 3 p.m. ET, four hours before Money in the Bank took place in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles. This event took place at the Kia Forum, while Money in the Bank was held at the newer Intuit Dome. Worlds Collide had a 2.5-hour runtime, which led to a 90-minute Money in the Bank pre-show before the MITB PLE took place.

I did a Worlds Collide results post on TJRWrestling on Saturday afternoon, but I’m reviewing it on Sunday. I did it that way because I didn’t want to burn myself out, as I was writing TJRWrestling news posts all day Saturday as well, so I needed a break before doing the Money in the Bank review. Let’s get to it.

WWE-AAA Worlds Collide
From the Kia Forum in Los Angeles (Inglewood), California
Saturday, June 7, 2025

A video package was aired, narrated by Rey Mysterio, who spoke in Spanish, with translations appearing on the screen.

The commentary team was Corey Graves and the wrestling legend Konnan, who has been part of the AAA booking team for many years. There was a Spanish commentary team as well.

There were national anthems sung for Mexico and the United States, with Lilian Garcia singing the American anthem. WWE executives Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Shawn Michaels were in the ring for the anthems, along with Blue Demon Jr. and Marisela Pena from AAA. Pena has a unique hairstyle. As for Michaels and Triple H, I remember when they used to have hair.

Rey Mysterio Welcomes Us To The Show

The WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio made his entrance for an in-ring promo. Rey had a beard under his mask. I saw a website say that Rey looked “unrecognizable” by having facial hair. It’s a ridiculous thing to say, but that’s wrestling media these days. Rey spoke mostly in Spanish, so I have no idea what he said since I don’t speak Spanish. Rey said in English that he thought that lucha libre would only be seen in Mexico, but he’s proud to see the revolution and be part of it growing here. Rey pointed at the WWE and AAA logos in the ring. Rey said now you can all see the one thing he fell in love with as a kid, which is lucha libre. Rey’s song played to end it.

Analysis: I think you can make the case that Rey is one of the best luchadores ever, so it was smart to feature him on the show even though he couldn’t wrestle due to injury. If Rey was healthy, I assume he would have been in a match on the show.

Octagón Jr., Aero Star & Mr. Iguana vs. Latino World Order – Dragon Lee & Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado

Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan were at ringside. Konnan is Dom’s Godfather. Konnan said Dominik is very disrespectful toward his father. The LWO guys are in WWE. They were supposed to have Joaquin Wilde join them, but he is injured. Dorado is a former WWE guy who works for AAA.

There was some fast-paced action early on between Cruz and Octagon as they did some chain wrestling. The unique Iguana man had a stuffed animal with him and the fans chanted for him. Iguana got an armdrag takedown on Dorado. Iguana put the stuffed Iguana (La Yesca) on his hand and hit an impressive arm drag off the ropes. Iguana did a spot where the stuffed animal got a pin attempt. Star faced off with Lee as they exchanged kicks. Star hit an impressive twisting cross body block on Lee. The AAA trio sent their opponents out of the ring. That led to somersault dives on opponents on the floor and Star hit a suicide dive on Lee. Back in the ring, Lee got the knees up to block a top rope splash by Star. The WWE trio made some quick tags to work over Star. Cruz dropkicked Iguana in the knee and Cruz spun Iguana around, leading to a two-count. Dorado stomped on and elbowed the stuffed iguana. Dorado even did a standing Spanish Fly on the stuffed iguana. Iguana hit a headscissors on Dorado and used the stuffed iguana as a weapon. The WWE trio hit a triple superkick on Iguana. Lee hit a double stomp on Iguana and Lee hit a somersault dive onto the floor. Dorado did an SSP, and Cruz covered for two because Star broke up the pin.

Octagon battled Dorado on the top rope as Dorado hit a Super Frankensteiner, Star hit a Cutter, Lee with a superkick, Iguana with a headbutt and Cruz walked the ropes, leading to a dropkick. Star stepped off the middle rope and jumped onto Lee on the floor. Cruz went up top and hit a spinning dive onto three guys on the floor. Octagon and Dorado fought in the ring as they exchanged chops. Octagon hit a jumping kick to the head. Octagon went up top with Dorado and Octagon hit a standing Fallaway Slam off the top rope for the pinfall win. It went 14:12.

Winners by pinfall: Octagón Jr., Aero Star & Mr. Iguana

Analysis: ***3/4 A great match that was full of action. There weren’t defined faces or heels in a match like this, but it was a nonstop highlight reel with so many incredible moves throughout the match. There are more relaxed tag team rules in AAA, so that’s why there was so much action and guys diving out of the ring throughout the match. I thought Aero Star really stood out as a performer, while Iguana is a unique character. Cruz was awesome too. Octagon beating Dorado made sense based on what happened next.

After the match, the Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio and Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan appeared at ringside. Dominik trashed Octagon for being a big Rey Mysterio fan while reminding us that his father Rey is a deadbeat and Dominik is your champion. Dominik trashed Rey in Spanish, too. Octagon got in Dominik’s face, so Dominik shoved him, and Octagon pulled Dominik over the barricade. Dominik and Octagon got into a fight in the ring, exchanging punches. Referees showed up to try to break it up.

Dominik Mysterio picked up the microphone to say that he was going to see Octagon at Money in the Bank. Dominik said he’ll make sure to put the Intercontinental Title on the line. Dominik said he’d see Octagon tonight.

Analysis: It was a good angle to set up a match. The Dominik-Octagon match was only about five minutes at Money in the Bank, and Dominik got the easy win.

A video package aired paying tribute to Antonio Pena for creating and launching AAA. It featured comments from AAA President Marisela Pena, who is the sister of the late Antonio Pena and Dorian Roldan, who is the AAA Director. It talked about how Pena created AAA with unique characters and great rivalries. It said 35 years later, the Pena/Roldan families are carrying on the tradition of Lucha Libre. Konnan said that he knows the late, great Antonio Pena is looking down, and he is happy.

Analysis: Nice video to share some AAA history with the audience.

They showed the legendary Mascarita Sagrada and Latin Lover at ringside. A hip-hop artist named That Mexican OT was at ringside, too. I don’t who that is, but Konnan loves his flow.

Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar, Angel & Berto were interviewed backstage by Chuey Martinez. Berto said that they are ready for war and they will prove who owns lucha libre. Angel said they come from a wrestling legacy, and they will prove it. Escobar said that the WWE logo means something. Escobar said that lucha libre with WWE can only be represented by this familia. Escobar said they’re ready to prove to the world who owns the lucha libre universe. They said “Familia Legado” to end it.

A video aired to set up the women’s tag team match.

The Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton were shown at ringside watching the match. It’s Tiffy Time.

Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta & Dalys

Dalys and Vaquer exchanged some pin attempts early on as Konnan spoke about their history together. Dalys countered Devil’s Kiss and sent Vaquer into the turnbuckle. Chik tagged in and they hit a bulldog combo move on Vaquer for two. Chik clotheslined Vaquer. Vice tagged in, Vaquer hit a 619 and Vice got a two count out of it. Chik punched Vice and applied a half Crab submission. Vice got a headscissors, followed by spinning kicks to the ribs. Vice hit a kick combo on Dalys when she tagged in. Vice hit three running hip attacks on her opponents for a two count on Dalys. Chik grabbed Vice’s hair from the apron, so Dalys kicked Vice out of the ring. Chik clotheslined Vice on the floor as the heels took over. Chik tagged in with a powerslam on Vice. Dalys was back in there with a running dropkick to the back of Vice against the ropes. Negro Casas was watching at ringside and Konnan mentioned that Casas is married to Dalys. Vice got an inside cradle for two.

Vaquer got the hot tag, she hit Dalys with a forearm and Vaquer jumped off the top with a cross body block. Vaquer hit Eat Defeat with a boot to the jaw. Vaquer sent Chik into the turnbuckle. Vaquer hit running knees. Vaquer did a dragon screw leg whip on Dalys for a two count. Vaquer hit a belly-to-back suplex on Dalys. Vice kicked Chik and Vice applied the Devil’s Kiss at the same time as Vaquer did it, so it was a double Devil’s Kiss. Vice dove onto Chik on the floor. Vaquer countered a move by Dalys and got a two count. Vaquer hit a kick to the head, and SVB (the double underhook backbreaker) led to Vaquer pinning Dalys for the win. It went 9:37.

Winners by pinfall: Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice

Analysis: ***1/4 A solid tag team match that was kept under ten minutes smartly because Vaquer had a match a few hours later at Money in the Bank. Most of the match was Vice selling and Vaquer got the hot tag to get the win for the team. That spot with the double Devil’s Kiss by Vaquer and Vice was very smart and drew a big pop. It was smart to book it that way since Vaquer didn’t have to be in there much, and she was fresh for Money in the Bank. Dalys and Chik are obviously skilled, while Lola had a good showing too.

After the match, Lola Vice and Stephanie Vaquer were interviewed in the ring by Vero Rodriguez, who is Finn Balor’s wife. They spoke in Spanish, so I’m not sure what was said. Vaquer ended it by saying she would be Miss Money in the Bank.

Analysis: Stephanie Vaquer did not win the Women’s Money in the Bank match because Naomi did, but Vaquer had a great showing. I thought it was a terrific match, and I think Naomi was the right choice as the winner.

Chad Gable was interviewed by Chuey Martinez. Gable claimed that the Mexican people know that he embodies what Lucha Libre is all about. Gable said it was a big day because El Grande Americano would walk out with the Money in the Bank briefcase, and Gable would be the AAA Mega Champion. Gable: “Viva le Mexico.”

A video package aired to set up the next six-man tag team match.

Former WWE superstar Chavo Guerrero was shown at ringside along with “social media sensation” Foos Gone Wild (the graphic said The Street Profits – oops). The WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) were also shown at ringside.

Legado Del Fantasma – Santos Escobar, Angel & Berto defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano & Psycho Clown

The Legado guys are heels in WWE, while their opponents are babyfaces in AAA.

Wagner started with Berto with an armbar. Angel tagged in and Berto hit a double team splash on Wagner. Clown tagged in with a cross body block, a body punch and a powerslam. Clown punched Angel in the back, Berto went into the ring and Clown hit a double German Suplex on Berto and Angel at the same time. Clown hit a suicide dive onto Escobar on the floor. Pagano tagged in with a springboard dropkick and an awkward flatliner on Berto, but it didn’t work on Angel. Graves explained that the referee was not enforcing tag team rules as strictly as in WWE. Pagano clotheslined Angel out of the ring. Pagano tried a suicide dive, but Escobar moved Berto out of the way and Pagano hit the floor hard. Angel hit a running elbow smash on Pagano. The three Legado guys kicked Pagano at the same time. Berto gave Pagano a body slam followed by a rolling moonsault for two. There were some cheap shots by Escobar and Angel while Berto distracted the referee. Escobar was legal for his team as Pagano hit a jumping neckbreaker.

Clown tagged in against Berto with forearms and a popup powerslam. Clown sent Angel into the turnbuckle with Angel in there illegally. Clown hit a basement dropkick on Angel and Clown hit a Code Red on Berto for two. Wagner tagged in against Escobar with a jumping clothesline. Wagner headbutted Escobar and hit a dragon screw leg whip on Berto and one of those for Angel too. The three babyfaces did dives, with Pagano diving onto Angel. Clown and Wager hit dives onto Escobar and Berto. The dive by clown onto Escobar was a bit short, but it was close enough. The six guys were all in the ring exchanging punches. Wagner hit a step-up knee on Escobar. Wagner hit a Falcon Arrow on Escobar for two because Angel made the save. Angel and Berto stood on the middle turnbuckle and hit a double team body slam on Wagner. Clown gave Berto a Psycho Driver on Berto on the apron. Angel hit a moonsault onto Clown on the floor. Pagano jumped off the top to take out Angel on the floor. Wagner kicked Escobar out of the ring. Wagner jumped off the steps with a senton splash onto Escobar on the floor. That got a two count in the ring because Angel made the save. Clown hit a sitout Powerbomb on Angel. Berto jumped off the ropes with a kick. Pagano hit a Codebreaker on Berto and Angel kicked Pagano out of the ring. Berto tackled Clown, Pagano and Angel on the floor. Wagner and Escobar were legal as Wagner hit a jumping knee smash for two. Wagner went up top with a “Viva La Raza” yell, leading to “Eddie” chants for Eddie Guerrero. Escobar met Wagner on the top rope and Escobar hit a super hurricanrana off the top. Wagner rolled up Escobar for two. Escobar hit a jumping knee, and Escobar hit the Phantom Driver for the pinfall win at 15:02.

Winners by pinfall: Legado Del Fantasma – Santos Escobar, Angel & Berto

Analysis: ***1/2 This was a fun tag team match with clear babyface and heel sides, which helped the match and made the fans care more. It was nice to see WWE’s Legado group get the win here. When they win on WWE TV, it’s usually due to a fluke or an issue with the opposing team. I think Escobar, Angel, and Berto could be used better in WWE, so I hope for better things for them. Wager is very talented, and Psycho Clown knows how to be the character he is. Pagano was okay, but he was a bit sloppy and not as impressive as the other two. Big win for Escobar to end it.

A video package aired about the “When Worlds Collide” PPV from 1994, featuring WCW and AAA wrestlers. Konnan spoke in the video about how people still consider it one of the best PPVs ever. Konnan discussed how it was a big night for wrestlers like himself, Rey Mysterio, Psychosis, Eddie Guerrero, and many others.

The AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo was interviewed by Vero Rodriguez. Vikingo spoke about how he’s ready to face Chad Gable and Vero translated it for us.

They showed WWE legend Savio Vega at ringside alongside former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. The legendary Blue Demon Jr. was also sitting at ringside.

NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Rey Fenix vs. Laredo Kid

There are no countouts and no disqualifications. The first fall wins.

Fenix and Evans kicked Page and Kid dropkicked Page out of the ring. Evans was sent out of the ring, Kid hit a hurricanrana on Fenix and Kid punched Page. Evans kicked Kid and Fenix clotheslined Kid out of the ring. Evans and Fenix faced off as two of the best athletes in WWE, which led to Evans getting a rollup for two. Fenix and Evans exchanged strikes. Evans did an armdrag, Fenix chopped Evans a few times and Fenix hit a rope walking armdrag. Fenix hit a hurricanrana, but Evans landed on his feet. Page was back in the ring to shove Fenix into Evans. Kid was back in with a jumping hurricanrana. Fenix jumped off the turnbuckle with a headscissors and even Page hit a hurricanrana on Fenix. Evans sent Page across the ring, followed by Evans hitting a dropkick to knock Page out of the ring. Fenix hit a hook kick to Evans’ head. Fenix went up top, Kid punched Fenix and Kid jumped off the top with a moonsault onto Evans and Page. Fenix jumped over the top with a twisting splash over the top onto the three guys on the floor. Fenix planted Page with a DDT for two. Fenix went after Page on the top turnbuckle, Evans broke that up, the fans were chanting for tables and Konnan wondered why they wanted tables. Kid was back up with a kick that knocked Evans down. Page gave Kid a body slam onto Evans. Page jumped off the top with a Superfly Splash. Page hit a powerslam on Evans for two because Fenix broke up the pin. Kid punched Fenix into the turnbuckle, followed by a forearm to the jaw. Kid hit a Michinoku Driver on Fenix. Kid hit a twisting splash on Fenix. Kid hit a running forearm on Page. Kid hit a flipping DDT for two on Fenix because Evans made the save. Kid hit a backbreaker on Evans. Kid went up top, Evans knocked him down and Evans bounced off the ropes leading to a German Suplex on Page. Evans jumped over the top to take out Page onto the Spanish commentary table. That was an incredible leap. Evans jumped across the ring with a Senton kick like a Van Damninator. Evans hit a spinning kick to the head of Fenix. Evans hit a springboard Cutter on Fenix for two because Page broke it up. Amazing sequence by Evans.

Evans grabbed Page on the apron and Page snapped the rope across the throat of Evans. Page threw Evans into Kid, who was against the turnbuckle. Fenix dropkicked Page and hit a Goodbye Amigo rope running kick. Fenix kicked Kid and Fenix hit a double foot stomp on Kid. Fenix hit Evans with multiple kicks, including a jumping kick to the head. Fenix hit a move that was like a powerslam for a two count. Fenix kicked Page, Kid kicked Fenix and Fenix kicked Page and Kid. Evans was back into it with a springboard clothesline on Page. All four guys were down in the ring. The fans were chanting, “This is awesome” again. Page sent Fenix into Evans, who crashed from the turnbuckle to the stairs. Fenix kicked Page down. Fenix gave Kid a Spanish Fly off the top rope. Page hit Ego’s Edge on Fenix for a two count because Evans jumped off the top with a springboard elbow drop to Page’s back. Great nearfall right there! Evans hit a jumping punch on Kid. Evans kicked Page, who put Kid in front of him and Evans hit a springboard Cutter that hit Kid. Page tossed Evans out of the ring onto Fenix. Page hit Twisted Grin (like a Diamond Cutter) on Kid for the pinfall win. This match went 14:57.

Winner by pinfall: Ethan Page

Analysis: ****1/4 That was an awesome match. I didn’t expect a title change here, so Page pinning the non-WWE guy Kid made sense as the finish. I thought Fenix was the most outstanding performer in the match, while Evans was also impressive. Page hit some big moves that you don’t always see from him, so kudos to him for adapting well. Kid had a lot of cool moves throughout the match too. They really did some creative nearfalls in the final few minutes of the match where it looked like anybody could win, but it ended up being Page as expected. The finish made Page look clever because he pushed Kid in front of him, so Evans hit Kid with a springboard Cutter, which led to Page throwing Evans out of the ring and Page hit his finish for the win. Since Page took care of Evans and Fenix, there was no pin breakup.

After the match, Konnan asked for the count, saying it was 3-1, but there were three WWE guys in that last match, so it wasn’t even like the other matches.

A video aired about how WWE has been doing WrestleMania for over 40 years while AAA has been doing Triplemania for over 30 years. The video focused on the history of Triplemania. They promoted Triplemania 33 on August 16th.

There was a video package to set up El Hijo Del Vikingo against Chad Gable in the main event.

The comedian Gabriel “Fluffy Guy” Iglesias was shown watching at ringside.

AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo Del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable

I have reviewed a handful of Vikingo matches, so I know how good he is and I look forward to this. Gable tripped up Vikingo, leading to an armbar. Vikingo managed to tie up Gable with a submission hold and Gable countered it into a pin attempt for two. Gable applied an armbar, Vikingo was able to get a backslide pin attempt and Vikingo broke free. Vikingo and Gable fought over a lockup attempt, Vikingo broke free and Gable got a pin attempt for two. Gable went for an Ankle Lock, but Vikingo broke free. Gable hit a thrust to the throat and a punch to the head. Gable hit a belly-to-back suplex. Vikingo managed to send Gable’s right shoulder into the ring post and Vikingo hit a missile dropkick to the right arm. Vikingo hit a headscissors to send Gable into the ropes, which led to Gable hitting a Meteora knee smash to knock Gable down on the floor. Vikingo jumped off the top with a 630 Splash on Gable’s back on the floor. Graves said, “That was insane” and I agree. Back in the ring, that got a two count. Vikingo kicked Gable to knock him down on the floor. Vikingo went for a running SSP off the apron, but Gable got the knees up. Gable sent Vikingo into the steel steps. Gable set up a table from under the ring and set it up on the floor. Gable tried to hit a German Suplex through the table, but Vikingo got out of it. Vikingo kicked Gable in the face and Gable came back with a lariat on the floor. Back in the ring, Gable got a two count. Gable sent Vikingo into the turnbuckle and Gable hit a monkey flip out of the corner. Gable knocked down Vikingo with a thrust to the throat. Gable hit a German Suplex for a two count. Gable suplexed Vikingo ribs-first across the top rope and Gable hit a boot to the head for a two count. Gable chopped Vikingo, but Vikingo managed to put Gable on the top rope and Vikingo hit another chop. Gable trapped the arm in an armbar against the ropes. Gable jumped off the top, but Vikingo hit a Codebreaker double knee attack. Both men were down selling for about 20 seconds.

Vikingo bounced off the ropes and hit a running forearm. Vikingo kicked Gable in the back against the ropes. Gable had to hold onto the ropes for about 10 seconds, so Vikingo hit a double stomp off the top rope. Vikingo hit a jumping kick on Gable, followed by a twisting 450 Splash off the middle ropes for a two count. That was a crazy move that led to a “This is awesome” chant. Vikingo tried a handspring attack off the ropes, Gable caught him and Gable hit a revere powerslam for a two count. Gable jumped off the top with a moonsault, Vikingo avoided it and Gable punched Vikingo in the face. They went to the top rope and Gable hit a sitout Powerbomb off the top for a two count. You don’t see that kind of move very often. That was amazing. Graves called it an inside sitout Powerbomb. Gable charged, Vikingo hit Gable with an elbow and put Gable on the top rope, which led to a Vikingo dropkick. Vikingo went up top again to the top of the ring post leading to a Mexican Destroyer onto the ring apron! That was one of the wildest Mexican Destroyers I’ve ever seen. Vikingo sent Gable back in for a two count. Vikingo put Gable on the top rope, but Gable shoved Vikingo down. Gable put Vikingo on the table that was on the floor, Gable punched him and Gable jumped off the top with a moonsault off the top that put Vikingo and Gable through the table. That was amazing. They went back into the ring to exchange slaps to the face. Vikingo went for a spinning kick, Gable avoided it, and Gable applied the Ankle Lock. Vikingo broke free, Gable went for a German Suplex, Vikingo was favoring his left knee and Vikingo hit a spin kick. Vikingo jumped off the top with a Poison Rana to spike Gable on his head. Vikingo hit a double knee attack against the turnbuckle. Vikingo went up top and hit a 630 Splash for the pinfall win. That was an amazing move for the win. It went 22:02.

Winner by pinfall: El Hijo Del Vikingo

Analysis: ****1/2 This was an outstanding match that was one of the best WWE matches of the year. That’s if you want to call it a WWE match. Vikingo is so much fun to watch, while Gable busted out so many big moves in the match, including that amazing Powerbomb off the top rope. That’s a move you don’t see regularly, so it was so amazing to see that. A few moments after that, Vikingo hit an amazing Mexican Destroyer on the apron to show that these guys were willing to go even further with the big spots. The moonsault through the table followed that too. You could say that the table bump should be a DQ, but I guess it’s a case of relaxed rules in a match like this. Additionally, the fact that Gable had a match as good as this and then worked Money in the Bank later that day as El Grande Americano is a testament to his talent. Incredible performer.

El Hijo Del Vikingo celebrated with the AAA Mega Championship while Mexican wrestlers and other babyface wrestlers joined him in the ring.

That was the end of the show. It had a runtime of 2 hours, 30 minutes.

Final Thoughts on WWE Worlds Collide

I rate WWE-AAA Worlds Collide an 8.5 out of 10.

It was an awesome show full of great matches for 2.5 hours. It was very effective in terms of staying true to the lucha libre culture of AAA while also introducing the product to the WWE audience. The Vikingo/Gable match was arguably Gable’s best match in his WWE career, with a lot of incredible moves during the match. I can see WWE wanting to feature Vikingo on Raw and/or Smackdown soon. The 4-way match was at the same level with so much action as Page, Evans, Fenix and Kid worked so well together.

I liked the two six-man tag team matches. I rated the first one a bit higher, but both were fun and creative in terms of their finishes. The women’s tag was a bit shorter for obvious reasons since Vaquer had two matches on the day.

The WWE talent won three matches while the AAA talent won two matches, so WWE won the night. Konnan mentioned it throughout the show, but it didn’t seem like WWE wanted to push it much. Graves and Konnan did a good job as a team. Konnan had a few awkward moments, but he also gave us a lot of information too. Graves clearly did his homework and called the action very well.

It was a show full of in-ring action, with minimal promos and storyline advancement. When you can focus on the in-ring action this match, it’s usually going to be great and that’s what this show was. I enjoyed it a lot.
