The John Report: AEW Dynamite 11/13/24 Review
This week’s AEW Dynamite featured Jon Moxley exchanging words with Orange Cassidy, Will Ospreay calling out Kyle Fletcher, and some big tag team matches.
On a personal note, I am on vacation next week starting this Saturday, November 16 with a return on Saturday, November 23. I’m not going to have a Dynamite review next Wednesday (or Thursday morning). However, I will still write the review when I’m back so it will be later in the week probably on the Saturday morning/afternoon of Full Gear. As much as I love wrestling, I am also excited to take a break for a week. I likely won’t have a preview of AEW Full Gear, but I will have a review of Full Gear on November 30th or the next day.
This was AEW Dynamite episode #267 from the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Follow me on Twitter/X @johnreport. Let’s get to it.
It’s Wednesday and you know what that means. Excalibur was on commentary with Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness.
They didn’t air the introduction video or any kind of recap video. It was right to the action with a tag team match.
“Hangman” Adam Page & Christian Cage (w/Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne & Mother Wayne) vs. Bang Bang Gang – Jay White & Juice Robinson
I think Hangman and Christian are my favorite heels in this company. Plus, their last names rhyme. I like White & Juice more as heels, but here they are in babyface roles.
Page was in control of White with a forearm shot to the back followed by some stomps. Christian tagged in, so White sent him hard into the turnbuckle. Juice was legal for his team as he punched Christian a few times, Page distracted Juice and Christian hit a neckbreaker onto the knee. Christian sent Juice out of the ring, so Nick kicked Juice in the ribs. Page tagged himself in to choke Juice across the middle rope. Page hit a belly-to-belly suplex for two. Christina hit a neckbreaker on Juice. Christian sent Juice out of the ring, Nick teased a cheap attack, but Hook showed up and pulled Nick over the barricade. Hook went fighting into a hallway with Nick, so they were out of it. Christian was watching that happen, so Juice hit a reverse DDT on the floor. Page tagged in for his team while White got the hot tag against his rival Hangman. White did a dragon screw leg whip to Page and for Christian as well. White with an uppercut on Page followed by a DDT on Page. Christian was illegally in the ring, but White still fought him off with DDT. White suplexed Page into the turnbuckle. Juice was back in with a running splash followed by White hitting a brainbuster on Page, so Juice covered Page for two. Christian pulled Juice out of the ring and Juice punched Christian. Juice went up top, Page stopped him there and Page also eye-gouged White. Page gave Juice a fallaway slam off the middle turnbuckle for a two count. Page hit a Popup Powerbomb for two on Juice because White made the save. Christian was in illegally, Page punched White and White avoided a Buckshot Lariat, which led to White hitting a flatliner. Juice punched Christian and White hit a Cutthroat Suplex on Christian. White hit a Cutthroat Suplex on Page too. On the floor, White gave Christian a Bladerunner into the barricade. Juice worked over Page with punches. Mother was on the apron, Juice countered with a pin and the referee was distracted by Mother on the apron, so it only got a two count. Kip went on the apron, Juice went after him, Kip ducked and Kip hit Juice in the head with the metal case that had Christian’s AEW World Title contract in it. The referee never saw it since Mother was on the apron. Hangman hit Juice with Deadeye for the pinfall win after 12 minutes.
Winners by pinfall: “Hangman” Adam Page & Christian Cage
Analysis: ***1/4 This was one of those obvious finishes when you look at the guys in the match and know Juice was going to lose this match. They used Christian’s allies at ringside to set up the cheap finish, which is fine because it puts over how strong Christan is with his “family” at ringside. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Christian and Hangman team again because they are great characters.
The TBS Champion Mercedes Mone was interviewed by Renee Paquette in the backstage area. Mone was bossing around her ally Kamille, who had her left arm in a sling. Mone said she’s not afraid of Kris Statlander, which was obviously a cue for what was next. Kris Statlander showed up to fight with Mone & Kamille, which led to Kris tackling Mone and Kamille through a very thin “wall” backstage.
Analysis: The bumps through the fake wall have been done a lot in AEW over the years. Taking a bump through a one inch of fake wall doesn’t impress me. However, I get why AEW likes it because it makes a noise. Also, Kamille will be a big babyface when she turns on Mone being a jerk to her. We see that many times in wrestling with pairings like this.

Let’s Hear From Will Ospreay
Tony Schiavone was in the ring and he brought out Will Ospreay for an in-ring promo. Tony mentioned that he knows Will wants the International Title back from Konosuke Takeshita, but he also wants to get his hands on Kyle Fletcher. Will said for right now he wants to call out Kyle, so that led to Kyle making his entrance.
Kyle Fletcher said he wanted to show Will that he was not a coward and he was there to see Will face to face. Kyle warned Will that the Don Callis Family is never far behind, so if Will lays a hand on him then they’ll send Will home for longer than three weeks. Will said he’s been in those Don Callis Family meetings, so he knows Kyle had something in his back pocket. Kyle pulled out a screwdriver and Will slammed it onto the crowd.
Will said that Kyle lived in his house while they worked together in the United Empire along with Mark Davis. Will said Kyle knows everything about Will including where Will works out, where Will lives and Kyle even has picked up Will’s son from school with him.
Kyle said that Don Callis didn’t do anything, but open Kyle’s mind to the truth. Kyle claimed that Will was doing it for himself. Kyle said that everything Will does is for himself. Kyle said Will wanted Kyle to succeed, but never as much as Will. Kyle called Will a selfish hypocrite. Kyle mentioned what Will did to Okada and Omega, so in Kyle’s position, Will would do the exact same thing.
Will shouted at Kyle wondering if he was nothing like Will or if he was just an Ospreay clone? Will said that he stabbed Okada and Omega in the back, but before he did that, he had accomplished a lot in Japan as a champion. Will said that he’s been a champion everywhere he’s been. Will told Kyle he’s done “sod all” on his own. Kyle said he was going to surpass Will and every single accomplishment that Will has ever had. Kyle wants to prove it at Full Gear – Kyle Fletcher vs. Will Ospreay. Will said that was what this was all about because this boy wanted his five minutes of fame. Will claims he is Mr. Pay-Per-View while saying that the four World Champions since he’s been here can’t match what he does on PPV. Will said that this was going to be sweet because he’s lost so much strength in his left arm. Will claimed he couldn’t even feel when his little boy was holding his left hand and Will took that away from him. Will said that Full Gear is right in front of them and Will claims he’ll take everything from Kyle. Fletcher said he’s not just coming for a piece, he’s coming for everything.
Kyle had backup because Lance Archer and Brian Cage showed up in the ring. Will Ospreay had some friends too because Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Davis joined Will in the ring. That led to a six-man fight where Will knocked Kyle out of the ring and Will hit a plancha on Fletcher on the floor. Archer kicked Davis out of the ring. Hobbs went fighting to the back with Cage.
Analysis: I thought it was a good promo from Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher. They touched on their past as best friends, but now Kyle wants to prove he can be better than Will. It’s an easy story to tell because it’s been in pro wrestling since long before these guys were even alive. I think Kyle made a good point that he did what Ospreay used to do when he was a star on the rise because that’s typical in pro wrestling.
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Roderick Strong vs. Lance Archer
Lance Archer was in action up next against Roderick Strong so Archer was in the aisle waiting for Strong. That led to Strong hitting Archer with a kendo stick to the back. They were fighting behind the stage where Archer gave Strong a Chokeslam through a table backstage for a two count. The lighting was bad, so we couldn’t actually see the move, but we could hear it. Here in Canada on TSN, it was supposed to be picture-in-picture time, but they showed the guys fighting in the crowd while the audio of commercials aired. Weird.
(Commercial)
They were fighting in the crowd as Brian Cage attacked Strong, but Strong had backup from the Undisputed Kingdom’s Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. Archer nailed Taven with a boot to the head while they were in the crowd. Archer gave Taven a Chokeslam onto two security guys that prevented Archer from slamming Taven on the floor. Strong tripped up Archer on a barricade, so Archer was crotched on the barricade. Strong hit Archer with a chair to the side of the head. Strong hit a leaping knee attack followed by a pin on the floor. This only lasted about five minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Roderick Strong
Analysis: **1/4 The match was okay, but nothing special for a Falls Count Anywhere match. They brawled in the crowd for most of it and I don’t really like others getting involved, but I get it since they are a part of stables. Strong winning with a jumping knee doesn’t make Archer look very tough, but there was a chair shot before that. Anyway, Strong winning made sense for the story they are telling with him.
That was Roderick Strong’s third win in a row so that means he gets to face MJF at Full Gear. They showed MJF watching at an undisclosed location, which was likely taped in the past.
Roderick Strong shouted out Max referring to MJF. Strong said that at Full Gear, this all ends and he’s going to finish this. Konosuke Takeshita, the AEW International Champion, attacked Strong from behind with punches. Adam Cole made the save since he’s against Takeshita up next.
Analysis: I think they are doing a nice job of keeping the action going from segment to segment this week. Good move by the creative team.
Konosuke Takeshita vs. Adam Cole
This is not for Takeshita’s AEW International Title. Cole needs to win this to get his shot at MJF at Full Gear.
The bell rang, but they were still playing the Cole song. Cole knocked Takeshita out of the ring with a clothesline followed by Cole doing his “Boom” and “Adam Cole baybay” bit. The music stopped at that point. Cole kicked Takeshita in the shin. Cole tried something off the middle turnbuckle, but Takeshita nailed Cole with a forearm. They went to a picture-in-picture break.
(Commercial)
Cole was in control by slamming Takeshita’s neck across Cole’s knee. Takeshita hit a spinning Blue Thunder Bomb for two. Takeshita knocked down Cole with elbow strikes, but Cole came back with a pump kick and an enziguri kick to the shoulder. Takeshita hit a rolling elbow strike to the jaw and then Cole came back with a brainbuster onto the knee for two. Takeshita came back with a German Suplex followed by a running clothesline. Takeshita ran the ropes followed by Cole hitting a superkick. Cole followed up with a superkick on charging Takeshita. Cole went for the running knee, but Takeshita rolled out of the ring. Takeshita grabbed the Dynamite Diamond Ring that was under the mat, Cole tried to go after Takeshita and Takeshita punched Cole with the Dynamite Diamond Ring on his pink. Referee Bryce Remsburg had his back turned, so he didn’t see it. Takeshita covered Cole for the pinfall win. It went about 10 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Konosuke Takeshita
Analysis: ***1/4 The match was pretty good for the time given, but not a classic or anything like that. It had a cheap finish with Takeshita using MJF’s Dynamite Diamond Ring that was gifted to Don Callis, who has Takeshita in his stable. I think most people might have thought Cole would win here, so having Takeshita win here is a bit of a surprise even though he’s a champion.
The loss means that Adam Cole won’t be facing MJF at Full Gear since he failed to win three matches in a row. A clip was shown of MJF watching and he was laughing at what just aired. Once again, it looked like a pre-tape with MJF rather than something live.
After the match, Roderick Strong went after Takeshita, but Takeshita came back with a low blow kick to the groin. Kyle O’Reilly made the save with a steel chair, but Takeshita left with the AEW International Title.
Ricochet went up to Konosuke Takeshita by the entrance area. Ricochet avoided a strike and then Ricochet superkicked Takeshita, who dropped the AEW International Title. Ricochet held up the AEW International Title in his hands.
Analysis: That obviously will lead to Takeshita against Ricochet at Full Gear, which should be an awesome match.
The trio of Adam Cole, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly were in the ring. Cole wanted to shake Kyle’s hand, but Kyle left the ring instead. Cole and Strong touched fists to show they are united.
Analysis: The announcers tried to put it over as a big deal to have Cole, Strong & Kyle in the ring together as the former Undisputed Era in WWE NXT, but the crowd barely reacted to it. This crowd was quiet for a lot of things on this show.
The Death Riders group led by Jon Moxley was shown arriving in a truck, so they are up next at the top of hour two.
(Commercial)
The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley, MVP & Shelton Benjamin were interviewed by Renee Paquette, who mentioned Lashley will face the dangerous Swerve Strickland at Full Gear. MVP put over Lashley’s talents before Lashley spoke. Lashley said that he’ll make an example out of Swerve and he will hurt Swerve. MVP said they’ll be watching Swerve in action later tonight.
Analysis: I like this group a lot. They are already one of my favorite groups in this company that has many groups.
Let’s Hear from Jon Moxley and The Death Riders
Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta were by the entrance area beating up JD Drake with a steel chair just because they were mean. Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir arrived in the back part of the arena. Shafir had a briefcase that likely had the AEW World Title in it. Shafir’s husband is Roderick Strong, who was just on the show before the break. No Pac this week, I guess.
Jon Moxley did a promo in the ring with a camera guy forced to be in there to film it. Moxley spoke about how Orange Cassidy has the chance of a lifetime at Full Gear when he challenges Moxley for the AEW World Title. Moxley said that the pressure is building and Moxley claimed he’s going to make an example out of Orange at Full Gear. Moxley said he was going to stomp Orange’s face in hamburger meat while stomping him so bad that his own mother wouldn’t recognize him. Moxley said that everybody else would see that and they would run and hide. Moxley said he commands the AEW World Championship, so “we have the power.”
Orange Cassidy made his entrance calmly while some fans started a “Freshly Squeezed” chant. Orange was joined by Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero by the entrance area. Orange said he believes that Moxley will do the things that he says he is going to do. Orange said that the AEW World Title represents what pro wrestling can be and Moxley holds it, so he has the power. Orange said the way to get the World Title is to wrestle and he’s good at it because he beat Moxley in the past. Orange said he’ll beat Moxley again and he’ll take the power back. Orange said he needs to get rid of a pawn – Wheeler Yuta. Orange said he’s going to wrestle Yuta and he’s going to remove the pawn that lets Orange get to the king. Yuta said he was no pawn and Claudio told Yuta to shut up.
Moxley said we’ll see if Orange can pull the trigger on his friend Yuta. Moxley said that on November 23rd at Full Gear, his message for Orange is this: “Abandon all hope.” Moxley left with Shafir, Claudio and Yuta in the back part of the arena. Darby Allin was there and he jumped off a barricade onto the Death Riders group. That led to Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero fighting with the Death Riders guy for a bit. Moxley and Shafir left going to the backstage area. Claudio got into the truck with Moxley and Shafir while Yuta wasn’t with them. Allin jumped into the back of the truck, so Claudio stopped the car. Claudio tackled Allin into the garage door and Claudio did the Giant Swing to Allin into the garage door. Claudio went back into the truck and Yuta jumped into the back of the truck. Claudio drove away. Darby Allin got back up and shouted, “I’m still standing.”
Analysis: I was bored by this. This was promoted at “Jon Moxley takes over TBS” and it just came off as…meh. That’s it? It was hardly a “money” segment or anything that would excite the average fan. It was okay. It was more of the same for these segments with Jon Moxley continuing his heel persona as the guy calling the shots in AEW while Orange Cassidy is a willing opponent. I don’t think anybody watching this is going to think Orange will beat Moxley, so I wouldn’t call it an effective segment. I know Orange Cassidy’s gimmick is to be the lazy guy, but how about showing some babyface fire in your promo and putting over how important it is to win? Make people care, man.
The ROH World Champion Chris Jericho, Big Bill & Bryan Keith were interviewed by Renee Paquette. Bill did his line about the Learning Tree lessons that he always does. Jericho said that he’s known Tomohiro Ishii for over 30 years. Jericho said he was a main eventer while Ishii was a young boy who got him coffee, carried his bags and washed his back in the shower. Jericho said that Ishii became one of the toughest wrestlers in AEW. Jericho said two years ago they had one of his favorite matches in AEW. Jericho said he accepts Ishii’s challenge for the ROH World Title. Jericho bragged about being a 9-time World Champion. Jericho said he’ll invoke lessons from great ROH Champions from the past like Jay Briscoe. Keith said something to end it. Jericho thanked us.
The Chris Jericho-Tomohiro ROH World Title match will be in two weeks on Dynamite in Chicago.
Dr. Britt Baker D.MD. vs. Penelope Ford
There was a quick pin attempted by Baker to start the match. Baker hit a running neckbreaker, which led to Ford regrouping on the floor. Ford managed to outsmart Baker at ringside, which led to Ford hitting a double knee drop to the ribs. They went to a PIP break there.
(Commercial)
The match continued with Ford going for a charge, but Baker sent Ford into the middle turnbuckle. Baker hit two clotheslines followed by a Slingblade. They did an awkward spot where Ford tripped up Baker by the turnbuckle. Ford hit a handspring elbow along with a running boot. Baker hit a ripcord elbow and they botched a counter move into a Cutter by Ford for two. That didn’t look good, but Britt sold it like she should. Ford jumped off the top with a moonsault, but Baker avoided it. Baker connected with a superkick and a neckbreaker. Baker put on the dreaded glove, which led to Britt wasting time, so Ford hit a dropkick to the back. Ford applied a Muta Lock submission, but then Britt countered with the Lockjaw submission and Ford tapped out. This lasted about eight minutes.
Winner by submission: Dr. Britt Baker D.MD.
Analysis: *3/4 It was a random match to give Baker the win. There hasn’t been a storyline for Baker since she lost to Mercedes Mone at All In three months ago. The fans didn’t seem to care that much.
After the match, Serena Deeb appeared on the stage with a flag. Baker had a long distance staredown with Deeb, so that will set up a future match.
Mina Shirakawa was interviewed by Renee Paquette. Mina said she’s so excited for Mariah May’s match against Anna Jay on Collision and then they’ll have a big champagne celebration. Harley Cameron interrupted to challenge Mina for a match on Collision. They both shook their impressive cleavage while saying they’ll see eachother on Saturday.
Analysis: That promo was…unique. I’m certainly not complaining about it.
Swerve Strickland (w/Prince Nana) vs. Lio Rush
I have no idea if Lio Rush wins matches in AEW, but I don’t recall reviewing a win of his in this company. Just saying.
It started off with both men showing off their athleticism, neither man could connect with a move and Rush did a backflip off the apron to the floor while Swerve went over the top to the floor. They had a staredown, so the fans cheered. Swerve was in control after a strike on the floor. Swerve went up top, but Rush knocked him down so Swerve bumped to the floor. That led to a PIP break.
(Commercial)
Swerve and Rush battled on the apron where Swerve kicked Rush in the shin. Swerve hit a jumping kick to the head. Swerve hit a vertical suplex for two. Swerve jumped off the middle turnbuckle with a forearm to the back. Rush caught Swerve with a Spanish Fly slam for a two count. They left the ring where Rush tried a hurricanrana, Swerve powered out of it and Rush jumped off the steps with a Reverse Rana on the floor. Rush hit a suicide dive onto Swerve on the floor. Back in the ring, Rush jumped off the top with a Frog Splash for two. Rush bounced off the ropes for a move, but Swerve caught him. Rush countered a move and went for a pin with his hand on the rope, but the referee saw it. Rush hit a spinning kick to the head. Rush jumped off the turnbuckle, Swerve caught him and Swerve hit the Big Pressure sitout slam for the pinfall win after 9 minutes.
Winner by pinfall: Swerve Strickland
Analysis: ***1/4 A decisive win for Swerve over Rush, who rarely wins AEW matches as I mentioned earlier. Rush does a great job of selling just like when they fed him to Shelton Benjamin, who kicked his ass. It serves a role, but it’s not much of a competitive match.
Let’s Hear From Swerve Strickland And The Hurt Syndicate
Swerve Strickland did a promo saying that people want to come after him to try to prove a point. Swerve said that Rush failed. Swerve said that Shelton Benjamin tried to make a name off his name and he got laid down too. Swerve said he’ll remind everybody that it is Swerve’s house. Swerve said “Stamford, Connecticut” (WWE headquarters) that he didn’t want to wait until Full Gear to fight Bobby Lashley, so he called him out right now.
The Hurt Syndicate’s MVP and Bobby Lashley appeared wearing suits. MVP said they liked Swerve a lot and the reason they recruited him is because he had so much potential. Lashley took his jacket off, so MVP said it looks like Lashley is ready to fight right now. MVP said there’s a lesson to learn and that is that there is strength in numbers. That led to Shelton Benjamin hitting Swerve from behind with a forearm, which we all knew was coming. Shelton sent Swerve out of the ring, so Lashley clotheslined Swerve on the floor. Lashley sent Swerve into the barricade a few times.
Bobby Lashley tossed Swerve into the ring, so Shelton hit Swerve with a DDT. MVP choked Prince Nana with his cane. Lashley gave Swerve a huge spinebuster. Lashley applied the Full Nelson submission (previously known as the Hurt Lock for Lashley) and Swerve sold it like he passed out. Lashley let go of Swerve, who was out on the mat on his chest. Security and referees finally showed up to try to stop this. Lashley grabbed Nana and sent Nana into the turnbuckle, so Nana took an awkward bump to the floor. Lashley celebrated his actions.
Analysis: I like how the Lashley-Swerve story has been built up. There’s nothing unique about it, but it’s basic pro wrestling with The Hurt Syndicate acting as bullies towards Swerve and since THS has the numbers advantage, they have looked strong against Swerve for most of their interactions.
Jamie Hayter was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette, who asked what was next for Hayter. Jami said she’s back to right the wrongs. Hayter said she was coming after one thing and the lights went out briefly.
A video aired about Julia Hart in a darkened room with blood on her shirt. Julia answered a phone telling her to come home – it was Brody King. Hart said she didn’t know where she was. A creepy video aired of Hart in a room with red lights while she was handed her hat. It ended there.
Analysis: Jamie Hayter was cut off before she could state what she was going after, so I think it should lead to Julia Hart coming back to go after Hayter.
(Commercial)
The AEW Tag Team Champions Private Party watched the main event by the entrance area.
FTR – Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler vs. Kings of the Black Throne – Malakai Black & Brody King
The big man King knocked down Dax with a hard chop. Cash charged at King, who nailed a huge back body drop. Black tagged in with a running hurricanrana on Cash. Dax tagged back in leading to Black applying an armbar on the left arm. Black punched Dax with an elbow strike and Black went for a roundhouse kick, but Dax ducked it. When Dax went for a strike, Black sat in the middle of the ring to avoid it, so that was cool. Cash tagged in and Black punched him out of the ring. Black went after Dax on the floor, but Cash clotheslined Black on the floor. FTR sat down beside a fallen Black, which was funny.
(Commercial)
The match returned with Black trying to tag out, and then Dax went in illegally so that Black could hit a springboard moonsault on both FTR guys. The spot wasn’t perfect because the FTR guys had to run under Black. King tagged in with chops for both opponents along with a double splash against the turnbuckle. King suplexed Cash across the ring. King hit a cannonball splash against both FTR guys leading to King pinning Cash for two. Cash managed to hold King in a Powerbomb position and Dax tagged in for a clothesline into the Powerbomb for a two count. Black sent Cash into the steel steps on the floor. Black was in illegally with a knee strike while King hit a Powerbomb on Dax for two. Right before that pin attempt, Black hit a moonsault onto Cash on the floor. The small crowd started a “this is awesome” chant for about three seconds. Cash was illegally in the ring to drop toe hold King into the turnbuckle. Cash gave King a superplex, but King blocked a splash by Cash because King got his knees up. Black illegally went into the ring with a double foot stomp on Dax and King covered for two. FTR was back in the ring to shove King into Black and they hit a Shatter Machine for two. Dax covered so that Black could pull him out of the ring, so that was just a two count. The FTR guys hit a spike piledriver on Black on the apron. King followed up with an impressive suicide dive on FTR for two. Back in the ring, King nailed Dax with a clothesline for two. King nailed Dax with another clothesline for two. King applied a sleeper on Dax, who sold it like he was passed out, so the referee called for the bell after 14 minutes.
Winners by pinfall: Kings of the Black Throne – Malakai Black & Brody King
Analysis: ***1/2 It was a very good match that was full of action, but also a lot of illegal offense in the final minutes. Normally FTR matches have less of that since they are an old-school type of tag team. However, it’s hard for me to ignore it, so that’s why my match rating wasn’t even higher. Unlike most of the matches on the show, the result of this one was unpredictable, so that’s a good thing.
The win by the Kings of the Black Throne means that they are going on to Full Gear in a four-way match for the AEW Tag Team Titles along with the champions Private Party and The Outrunners. The fourth team will be determined on Collision this Saturday: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) vs. LFI (Rush & Dralistico). Collision is taped on Thursday this week.
Analysis: It took AEW five years to put the Tag Team Titles on Private Party, so I doubt they will lose the titles in that match.
After the match, Kings of the Black Throne and FTR shook hands as a sign of respect. That was the end of the show.

Final Thoughts on AEW Dynamite
It was a typical Dynamite show in this era where they put on mostly predictable matches and the match quality is fine, but nothing that blows me away. I liked the main event the most out of all the matches while the opening tag was fun too.
That story with Jon Moxley is supposed to be the driving force of AEW right now while the company promoted it by saying Moxley was going to take over TBS. Take over TBS how? He just did a typical wrestling promo while running away with his friends. It was not compelling television at all. The Ospreay-Fletcher promo was much better and that was more of a typical “former friends make things persona” style of promo that we have seen for many years in pro wrestling.
The people who love AEW will think this was a great show because they don’t want to see flaws, but really compared to their best days this was not that special. They used to have more interesting show with better matches and more impactful promo segments. It’s also sad to see how small the crowd is because they were quiet for a lot of this show. I think Full Gear’s lineup is pretty good for the most part and I enjoy AEW PPVs. I just think Dynamite has been less interesting this year.
The next AEW pay-per-view is Full Gear on November 23rd with this lineup announced so far:
* AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Orange Cassidy
* Swerve Strickland vs. Bobby Lashley
* Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher
* TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Kris Statlander
* TNT Championship: Jack Perry (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
* AEW World Tag Team Championships: Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) (c) vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black & Brody King) vs. TBA
* Jay White vs. “Hangman” Adam Page
* MJF vs. Roderick Strong
* Big Boom A.J. (with Big Justice) vs. Q. T. Marshall (PRE-SHOW)
