This is AEW Collision featuring a women’s 4-way main event with Hikaru Shida, Serene Deeb, Thunder Rosa & Queen Aminata, plus FTR in action, and more.

The show was live at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The announcers for Collision were Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

Match #1: The Conglomeration’s Kyle O’Reilly & Orange Cassidy & Hologram defeated Lee Moriarty, The Beast Mortos & Johnny TV (w/Taya Valkyrie, Shane Taylor & Anthony Ogogo) by pinfall. Hologram got the win over Johnny TV with an avalanche Spanish Fly for the win.

Match #2: The Bang Bang Gang – Juice Robinson and Austin & Colten Gunn defeated Premier Athletes—Tony Nese, Josh Woods & Ariya Daivari (w/“Smart” Mark Sterling) by pinfall. The Gunns hit 3:10 to Yuma on Woods for the win.

Mercedes Mone, the TBS & NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, was shown celebrating her win over Momo Watanabe at NJPW Capital Collision. She dared anybody to try to beat her.

Hikaru Shida was featured in a promo saying she would prove she’s the best in the main event later in the show.

Match #3: FTR – Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood defeated Undisputed Kingdom – Matt Taven & Mike Bennett by pinfall. FTR did the Powerplex combo finisher on Taven for the win.

After the match, Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & Matt Taven) attacked FTR from behind. They said this is where the best wrestle and that’s why they are here. They bragged about taking out the “living legends” FTR to end it.

Thunder Rosa did a quick promo about how she was going to win in the main event.

Lance Archer was shown backstage beating people up. He yelled into the camera: “Everybody dies!”

Match #4: Top Flight – Dante & Darius Martin, Lio Rush, and Action Andretti (w/Leila Grey) defeated The Iron Savages, Jacked Jameson, & Turbo Floyd by pinfall. Dante got the win over Jacked Jameson with a top rope splash.

Serena Deeb and Queen Aminata were interviewed backstage. Deeb suggested that they work together in the four-way match in the main event and told Queen to think about it.

Match #5: Kyle Fletcher defeated Tomohiro Ishii by pinfall. Kyle won a hard-fought and physical match with a tombstone piledriver.

Pac was interviewed backstage about his AEW All Out match against AEW International Champion Will Ospreay. Pac challenged Ospreay to a six-man tag team match on Dynamite. Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly interrupted to say they’ll team with Ospreay.

Tony Schiavone that on the September 4th edition of AEW Dynamite, it will be Will Ospreay, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O’Reilly facing AEW Trios Champions Pac, Claudio Castagnoli, and Yuta Wheeler in a Trios Tag Team Match.

Match #6: Buddy Matthews defeated Komander (w/Alex Abrahantes) by pinfall.

After the match, Brody King celebrated with his House of Black ally Buddy Matthews. The MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) next week is fashion week and it’ll be MxM Collection against the House of Black in a Friday Night Fashion Fight. Buddy: “It’s your funeral.”

Who Won The AEW Collision Main Event?

Match #7: Hikaru Shida defeated Queen Aminata, Serena Deeb, and Thunder Rosa by pinfall. Shida won after hitting a spinning Kitana kick on Aminata for the victory.

The win by Shida means she will challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Tile at AEW All Out on Saturday, September 7th in Chicago.
