It was AEW Collision featuring an FTR tag team match and Battle of the Belts featuring Toni Storm on the same night.

The two shows were live from the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, TX. The announcers for Collision were Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

Match #1: Orange Cassidy defeated Johnny TV (w/Taya Valkyrie) by pinfall. Orange won with an Orange Punch.

After the match, Johnny and Taya attacked Orange, but Willow Nightingale made the save, so Johnny and Taya ran away.

Match #2: Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli defeated ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty (with Shane Taylor) & “The Machine” Brian Cage and Top Flight—Dante & Darius Martin (with Action Andretti) by pinfall. Yuta did an Angle Slam followed by a seatbelt pin on Darius to win.

The Conglomeration group did a quick promo with ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe holding his infant son, baby Jay Briscoe.

Match #3: Hologram defeated “The Beast” Mortos by pinfall. Hologram jumped off the top with a Crucifix Bomb and then did a crucifix pin to win.

Match #4: Thunder Rosa defeated Maya World by submission in a short match. Rosa did a Cobra Clutch submission for the win. Rosa issued a warning to Deonna Purrazzo after the match.

Lance Archer was shown beating up several different wrestlers in the hallway. Archer also did a promo about how he’s going to brutalize Will Ospreay during their match on AEW Dynamite this coming Wednesday.

Match #5: The Conglomeration —Tomohiro Ishii, Kyle O’Reilly, & ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe defeated Premier Athletes —Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods, & Tony Nese (with “Smart” Mark Sterling) by submission. O’Reilly applied an armbar on Woods, who tapped out.

Chris Jericho, the FTW Champion, did a backstage promo about his match with Minoru Suzuki from Dynamite earlier in the week. Jericho said this.

““It’s going to be very hard to wave at all the branches, and then Shibata came back. Suzuki, I’m not through with you yet and I’m going to break two of your fingers. But Shibata, now that you’re back, the Learning Tree, the Bad Apple, and the Redwood are going to come for you!” (H/T AEW)

Match #6: Lance Archer defeated Wrestler Whose Name Was Not Announced by pinfall. Archer won with the Blackout in under one minute.

Match #7: FTR — Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler defeated MxM Collection — “The Sultan of Suave” Mansoor & Mason Madden by pinfall. FTR won with a Shatter Machine on Mansoor for the win.

The Acclaimed did a quick promo about getting the win in the Blood & Guts Match. They want their AEW Tag Team Titles back from The Young Bucks.

Match #8: “The Bastard” Pac defeated Lio Rush by pinfall. They had a great match that went about 14 minutes. Pac nailed a stiff clothesline followed by the Brutalizer for the submission win because Rush tapped out.

What Happened On AEW Battle Of The Belts XI?

The 11th edition of AEW Battle of the Belts took place at 10 p.m. ET for one hour. Ian Riccaboni joined the commentary team for this show. There were three matches.

Match #9: AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match: “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated Taya Valkyrie by pinfall. Storm connected with a headbutt followed by Storm Zero.

After the match, Storm did a promo about defending the AEW Women’s Title against Mariah May at All In:

“First things first. This tramp is still the champ! Mariah May, you were perfect. You were all my dreams come to life. And sometimes you were even a better me than I was. But Mariah, you made one miniscule mistake because when you had me on my knees, crying, screaming, bleeding, and screaming your name, you should have cut my bloody head off!”

Kip Sabian was interviewed backstage about how his father passed away recently so the last four months have been a roller coaster ride. Sabian told Nick Wayne he knew where to find him.

Match #10: CMLL World Women’s Championship Eliminator Match: Willow Nightingale defeated “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo by pinfall with the Babe with the Powerbomb move.

It was announced that this Wednesday on Dynamite, it will be champ Willow Nightingale facing former best friend Kris Statlander in a CMLL World Women’s Championship Eliminator Match.

Match #11: ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships Match: “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs—Ross & Marshall (with Kevin Von Erich) defeated The Undisputed Kingdom—Roderick Strong & ROH World Tag Team Champs Mike Bennett & Matt Taven to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles. Rhodes got the win with a lifting sitout neckbreaker like a lifting Cross Rhodes for the pinfall win.

This was the first time Dustin Rhodes won a title since joining AEW/ROH five years ago. Other wrestlers went into the ring to congratulate the new champions.
