Report: WWE Signs Thea Trinidad
Thea Trinidad has signed a deal with WWE according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet. It’s expected that the 26 year old will begin training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando very soon. The report doesn’t specifically say she will be a part of WWE’s Mae Young Classic women’s wrestling tournament that is taping in July, but it’s certainly a possibility.
Trinidad is most known for being Rosita in TNA Wrestling. She was Knockouts Tag Team Champion in TNA with Sarita, who is also known as Sarah Stock and works in WWE now as an agent/trainer.
Trinidad is also playing AJ Lee in the WWE/The Rock produced movie about Paige’s life. The Rock put her over huge on Instagram earlier this year.
Pro Wrestling Sheet noted that that some other names are starting with WWE soon include former Impact Wrestling star Gunner, Fabian Aichner, German wrestler Axel Dieter Jr. and women wrestlers Evie and Nixon Newell.
