Report: Bray Wyatt Will Be Back On Road With WWE Next Week

TJR Wrestling

Bray Wyatt has been out of action since April where he suffered a calf injury at a WWE live event in Milan, Italy. This was unfortunate as it looked like he was in line for a big babyface push. The severity of his injury was also very up in the air as to how long he would be out too.

It looks like Wyatt will be returning soon as PWInsider Elite is reporting that he will be back on the road with WWE next week. There is currently no word as to whether or not he will be on Raw or SmackDown next week, but his return is expected to happen very soon.

Mark’s reaction: I’ve missed Wyatt since he’s been gone. It looked like he was in line for a babyface push as well which could have been very big for him. However, maybe the injury was a blessing in disguise as his return will likely garner a large reaction. Then, he could just naturally become a babyface by facing off against heel challengers.

WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view event is also approaching as it takes place in two and a half weeks on June 19 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. There is still one spot left open for the seven man Money in the Bank ladder match. With Cena now in a feud with AJ Styles, I think Wyatt is a very likely candidate for that seventh and final spot. I also think he has a good chance of winning the briefcase.

He’s a big star for the company and has yet to hold the WWE Title. Although I don’t feel he necessarily needs to hold the title due to the type of character he is (e.g. The Undertaker), it would make for an interesting story. Also, Wyatt’s entrance makes for a pretty sweet looking Money in the Bank cash in.
