Report: 2015 Female Tough Enough Winner Sara Lee Released By WWE

TJR Wrestling

Last year’s female winner of Tough Enough Season 6, Sara Lee, has reportedly been released by World Wrestling Entertainment. This is according to Pro Wrestling Sheet. The reason for Lee’s release has yet to be specified.

Lee outlasted seven other women during 2015’s Tough Enough to win a $250,000 WWE contract. The voting system for last year’s Tough Enough was determined by the viewers from their participation through social media. Although Lee was clearly outmatched by some of the other women in the competition, she won due to the fans taking a liking to her quirky, girl next door personality.

This news of Lee’s WWE release comes at the same time as a recent personal announcement of hers. She’s currently in a relationship with NXT Superstar Wesley Blake and the two are expecting a new addition to their family as Lee is now pregnant. This was posted by them on Facebook.

Lee made her debut at an NXT live event in March of this year, but has barely been used since.

The female runner-up of Tough Enough Season 6, Mandy Rose, was also signed to a WWE contract after the series finale and received a role on Total Divas. She’s also made several appearances on televised NXT programming. Daria Berenato, who was eliminated from the same season of Tough Enough early on, has since been signed to a WWE contract and has also made several appearances at NXT live events as well as a televised NXT appearance in August.
