Zoey Stark Explains Shock Alliance With Trish Stratus

Night of Champions was a big night for WWE in Saudi Arabia and an even bigger night for new Raw star Zoey Stark as she made a name for herself at the expense of Becky Lynch.

At Night of Champions, Becky Lynch finally got her chance to get her hands on Trish Stratus after Stratus viciously turned on the star after costing her and Lita the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The match saw both stars take it to each other and late on Stratus looked to escape to the outside and even began to clamber under the ring to get away from The Man. However, what Becky Lynch hadn’t counted on was Zoey Stark hiding under there but she soon made her presence felt when she nailed Lynch – behind the referee’s back – with her Z-360 knee to the face, bloodying the star.

Now appearing on WWE’s The Bump, an interview from after Stratus’ bout with Lynch aired where Stark and Stratus were asked if this was always the plan to which Stark replied incredulously:

“What kinda question is that? Look, we’re just here to kick ass, and no better than Trish Stratus to do it.”

The issues between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch look to be far from over and with Zoey Stark now involved, the former NXT star could be propelled into the limelight as part of the feud with the former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion.
