The Young Bucks Face First Time Challengers At AEW Grand Slam

Young Bucks AEW Tag Team Champions

The Young Bucks face an uphill struggle to keep the AEW Tag Team Championship as their next challengers earned their title shot on Dynamite.

At All Out, The Young Bucks survived the challenge of Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli to retain the AEW Tag Team Title. Although, by the end of the night it was revealed that Claudio Castagnoli’s mind might have been on more pressing issues for the Blackpool Combat Club.

On Dynamite in Lexington, a Casino Tag Team Gauntlet match took place to find The Young Bucks’ next challengers and the bout was filled by some of the company’s top teams.

Will Ospreay Gunning For Young Bucks’ Gold

Despite his split with The Don Callis Family, AEW International Champion Will Ospreay found a place in the match as he teamed with his long-time ally Kyle Fletcher. The crowd were firmly behind the underdog team of The Outrunners when they made their way to the ring but ultimately it was Ospreay and Fletcher who picked up the win as only nine teams were able to enter the fray.

Fletcher and Ospreay will now challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship at Dynamite Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium, New York on September 25th.
