Young Bucks Get Chance To Reclaim Fortune At AEW WrestleDream

The Young Bucks AEW Tag Team Champions

The Young Bucks are broke again, but their fortunes could change yet again at AEW WrestleDream.

The Young Bucks lost their EVP jobs when they were defeated by Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland at All In Texas. What followed was an example of what happens when you rule by fear rather than respect, as every single person in AEW turned their back on Matt and Nick Jackson, now they were no longer in power.

The Bucks lost their elaborate entrance, and the ring announcers even mocked them. Despite all that, The Young Bucks are still one of the top tag teams in the world, and it was in the ring that they reclaimed their wealth at least, when they teamed with the Death Riders to win a $500,000 ten-man tag team match. Such was Moxley’s desire to simply win the match that he promised Matt and Nick that they could net the whole jackpot for themselves if they won.

However, Nick Jackson’s desire to double his money in slot machines went about as well as could be expected. After a short time of their music and pyro returning, The Bucks are broke again as their money quickly ran out.

The Young Bucks Get Another Shot At Fortune

Even worse, their old teammate in The Elite, Jack Perry, returned to AEW to take out The Bucks as he reunited with his former Jurassic Express partner, Luchasaurus, at All Out. On Title Tuesday, The Young Bucks sought revenge after Jurassic Express picked up a big win. Matt and Nick Jackson attacked Luchasaurus and Perry before challenging them to a tag team match at WrestleDream.

It was then confirmed that the match would take place and that there would be another half a million dollars on the line for the winning team.
