WWE’s Ulterior Motive for Ignoring Karrion Kross Revealed

Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross might have never been more popular with fans, but WWE continues to ignore him and they might have their reasons for doing just that.

In the days after WrestleMania 41, Karrion Kross vented his frustration at life in WWE after missing out on a match at the event. The former NXT Champion only made a cameo during the match between AJ Styles and Logan Paul on night two, and he was far from happy about it.

In an expletive-laden rant mid-interview, Kross suggested his love of wrestling apparently “didn’t mean sh*t.” He then turned his attention to AJ Styles, whom he addressed as “Alan,” criticising him for “p*ssing away” what might be his last WrestleMania match.

Kross recalled being told to be a good soldier by Goldberg, but said that advice only got him released and overlooked. The star closed by telling the “guy with the suit and tie” to go f*ck themselves.

This led to a huge swell in support for the star, but so far this has not translated to any success in the ring or much in the way of TV time. And it seems WWE might have their reasons for ignoring Kross.

Karrion Kross’ WWE Deal Almost Over?

Speaking on Coach & Bro, former WWE writer Vince Russo explained that he thinks Kross’ contract status might explain why the company has ignored him for a more involved role and why he’s missed out on a place in Money In The Bank:

One of the things I understand is that Karrion Kross’ contract may be up in August. Now think about this if Karrion Kross’ contract is up in August and Karrion Kross is getting over and all of a sudden neogtiations come up and Karrion Kross says “Well man, I’m getting over, this and that, this is what I’m looking for.”

Compared to we don’t push the guy, we don’t put him on television, we don’t put him in a key role, when August comes and we look at Karrion Kross wanting a bump, how easy is it to say “Bro, we’ve tried, you’re not over.” I hate to say this because I love the guy but that’s the pattern that we see.
