WWE’s Plans For Roman Reigns At Clash In Paris Disclosed
Roman Reigns was reported to have been written off TV after his recent beatdown on RAW.
However, WWE seemingly has one last run for The Tribal Chief before he departs to film his scenes for the 2026 Street Fight movie.
The 40-year-old is billed for Clash in Paris PLE, scheduled for August 31. He will appear on the August 18 taping of the red brand, too.
While the fans may be anticipating a one-on-one bout featuring Reigns, that possibly may have to wait.
During the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio via WrestleBinge, JoeyVotes and TC confirmed that Roman Reigns’ beatdown was not a write-off, but a buildup towards a match at the Paris event.
Reigns may find himself in yet another tag team situation, although it remains to be seen who his tag team partner will be.
Such plots enable the Stamford promotion to plan potential bookings that draw attention at major premium events in the future.
Roman Reigns joined forces with his cousin Jey Uso at SummerSlam to beat Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in a tag team match.
CM Punk Takes A Dig At Roman Reigns
The August 4 episode of WWE RAW also witnessed CM Punk getting beaten down by Seth Rollins’ faction.
As it has now turned into a pattern, Bronson Reed again stole Reigns’ shoes, humiliating him.
After witnessing the chain of events firsthand, Punk shared an Instagram story while taking a dig at the former world champion.
