WWE’s Plans For Goldberg At Crown Jewel Might Shock Fans
Following an unlikely run-in at Bad Blood, a new report has indicated what WWE’s plans are for Goldberg at Crown Jewel.
WWE Bad Blood appeared to set the scene for an unlikely rivalry. After Triple H announced the creation of the Crown Jewel Championships, Gunther came to the ring to discuss his match for that title with Cody Rhodes.
However, after spotting Goldberg at ringside, he decided to take some jabs at the Hall of Famer. Gunther called the star a “one trick pony” and said he hoped he was a better dad than he was a wrestler. This caused Goldberg to jump the barrier and try to get at Gunther only to be thwarted by security. Sensing an opportunity, Sami Zayn launched his own assault on the World Champion before the pair were pulled apart.
Since the event, Triple H has hinted the WCW legend could get back in the ring, despite his last match coming more than two years ago.
WWE Not Bringing Goldberg To Crown Jewel
Goldberg was a frequent competitor at WWE’s shows in Saudi Arabia before that and with Crown Jewel taking place on November 2nd, speculation about the WWE Hall of Famer’s involvement has been running wild.
However, PWInsider has now reported that Goldberg is not set to be part of Crown Jewel. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will be a big part of the show as he clashes with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship.
