WWE’s Diabolical Plans For CM Punk & Drew McIntyre Revealed
The issues between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre continued on Raw and now it seems WWE have huge plans for the two hated rivals in the near future.
At SummerSlam, 8 months of personal insults and screwjobs finally came to a head as Drew McIntyre and CM Punk got their hands on each other.
After plenty of back-and-forth action, Punk locked Drew McIntyre in the Anaconda Vice and managed to wrestle the bracelet baring his wife and dog’s name from McIntyre’s wrist. As that bracelet lay on the canvas, special referee Seth Rollins put it on his wrist for safekeeping. Punk noticed that when he had McIntyre hoisted on his shoulders for the Go 2 Sleep and that proved enough to stop Punk in his tracks.
Rollins was knocked to the outside before Punk did hit the move and had McIntyre pinned but with Rollins not there to count the 3 the match continued. Seth Rollins told CM Punk it wasn’t all about him so Punk responded with a Go 2 Sleep to the referee. With Rollins floored and Punk retrieving the bracelet, McIntyre went low, kicking Punk below the belt before a Claymore secured the win for the Scottish star, who then took the offending bracelet back as his trophy, indicating their story was far from done.
CM Punk & Drew McIntyre Heading To Hell
On Raw in Baltimore, Rollins and Punk looked like they were going to come to blows again before Drew McIntyre interrupted to flaunt the bracelet and get under Punk’s skin all over again. And it seems another showdown is on the horizon between the two men.
WRKD Wrestling has reported that CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre is WWE’s current plan to headline Bad Blood on the 5th of October. Not only will that rematch main event the show but it will be a Hell In A Cell match mirroring the main event of the first Badd Blood event held in 1997.
Seth Rollins looks to have a new problem of his own as he was viciously attacked by Bronson Reed on Raw with Reed nailing Rollins with six Tsunamis.
