WWE’s Newest Champion Gloats After Shock Title Win

To the surprise of everyone, there’s a new champion in WWE, and now they’re laughing in the face of anyone who ever doubted their success.

At Battleground, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jordynne Grace to retain her NXT Women’s Title, but her next challenger did not take long to make themselves known. Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne slapped Vaquer backstage at Battleground, which set up a title match between the pair on the May 27th edition of NXT.

Stephanie Vaquer thought she was on her way to victory, but as she got too close to the ropes, Fallon Henley delivered a vicious kick while Jazmyn Nyz distracted the referee. Henley sent Vaquer back into the ring where Jayne was waiting with a discus punch to pin Vaquer and win the NXT Women’s Championship to the shock of everyone. Ring announcer Mike Rome was so stunned that he even had to be prompted to announce Jacy Jayne as the winner and new champion.

Jacy Jayne Revels In Proving WWE Doubters Wrong

Now, Jacy Jayne has taken to social media to celebrate her win with a special message for anyone who ever doubted her:

The win marks Jacy Jayne’s first singles title win in WWE, she has previously held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship on two occasions with Gigi Dolin as Toxic Attraction.
