WWE’s Current Stance On Jacob Fatu Revealed

WWE star Jacob Fatu

As questions persist over the current status of Jacob Fatu, WWE’s stance on the former US Champion has now been revealed.

From the moment Jacob Fatu landed in WWE, many fans had him tagged as a future main event star. Fatu was a key part of Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline, but as Fatu increased in popularity with fans, the cracks between him and Sikoa became chasms.

Sikoa was instantly jealous when Jacob Fatu captured the WWE US Title at WrestleMania 41, and soon after, their partnership completely fell apart when Fatu screwed Sikoa out of winning the Money In The Bank match.

That led to Sikoa challenging Fatu for the WWE US Title at Night of Champions as Sikoa’s Family Tree grew as Talla Tonga made his on-screen debut in the company.

Fatu failed to recapture the title at SummerSlam in a steel cage match designed to keep the MFT from getting involved in the action. And The Samoan Werewolf has not been in action on WWE TV since the 15th of August edition of SmackDown when he Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn to defeat MFT.

WWE Still Has High Hopes For Jacob Fatu?

With his absence continuing, many fans have wondered if WWE has lost faith in Jacob Fatu and if his push in the company could now be over. But it seems that’s not the case.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on a Fightful Q&A that he’s heard nothing regarding WWE giving up on Fatu and that everything he has heard from the company continues to point to the fact that he is liked and the company know that he’s a special talent.
