A WWE star found themselves torn at WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 41, Becky Lynch made her triumphant WWE return and teamed with Lyra Valkyria to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, as it transpired, Lynch only got her spot in the match on night two after taking out Bayley a day earlier.

The Man subsequently turned on Valkyria as well after they lost the gold back to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez just 24 hours after winning it.

This has kicked off a rivalry between Lynch and Valkyria, while the veteran has continued taking shots at Bayley in the process.

WWE Star Endured Bittersweet WrestleMania

In a new interview with Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, Valkyria was asked about who she has the best chemistry with since moving to the main roster.

The Irish star was quick to shout out her former tag team partner, Bayley, before admitting that her friend having to miss WrestleMania was “genuinely upsetting.”

“Especially since I’ve come to Raw, I feel like I’ve had this natural connection with Bayley outside of the ring, and it kind of just manifested inside the ring. We really really clicked. Having my Mania moment coming as an expense to her, that was genuinely very upsetting.

Bayley, since I’ve come to Raw, has been a massive help and she actually is everything that I thought Becky would be. It’s a very big change to see her out at the moment,”

Lyra Valkyria is set to defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch at Backlash on May 10. The match will be Valkyria’s fifth defence of the title since she became the inaugural champion back in January.
