How Many More Matches Will Be Added To WWE WrestleMania 41?

WWE WrestleMania Triple H

An update has been given about how many matches will take place on WWE’s two-night WrestleMania 41 event.

There are two more SmackDown episodes and one more Raw episode before WWE WrestleMania 41 takes place on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th in Las Vegas.

Many of the big matches are already locked in, but there are still others that have yet to be added. The following matches are confirmed with Cody Rhodes facing John Cena as the WrestleMania Sunday main event and CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins as the WrestleMania Saturday main event.

* Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena

* CM Punk (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

* WWE Women’s World Championship: IYO SKY (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley

* WWE World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Jey Uso

* WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

* AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul

* United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Jacob Fatu

* Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Penta vs. Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio

* Naomi vs. Jade Cargill

* Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano

It was reported by WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon that there will be a few more matches added to the show.

“So it’s definitely not 13. From what I’ve been told, it’s either 14 or 15. Saturday night may make eight matches, and seven on Sunday is what I’ve been told.”

That would be consistent with previous years because WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia had 14 matches while WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles had 15 matches, but a few of those matches were very short. WrestleMania 40 was the first WrestleMania where Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque had full control of the creative direction of the company.

Triple H was the Chief Content Officer at WrestleMania 39, but former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was still involved with the company and had an influence on what happened.

What Else Could Be Added To The WWE WrestleMania 41 Lineup?

In addition to those 10 matches listed above, the Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre match is not on there, but it is likely to be there as long as McIntyre is okay after some glass went in his eye.

It was announced on WWE Raw in Minneapolis that the Women’s Tag Team Titles would be defended at WrestleMania, so that’s 12 matches. It will be Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez defending their title against the team that wins the Women’s Gauntlet Match on SmackDown.

Randy Orton was on the card in a match against Kevin Owens, but that match is off now because Owens is injured and will have neck surgery soon. There’s no word on whether Orton will definitely have a match at the show.

The World Tag Team Titles could be on the line since The New Day beat The War Raiders by Disqualification on Raw, so that could lead to a rematch.

There are also the WWE Tag Team Titles held by The Street Profits. The Motor City Machine Guns are the number one contenders, but it’s not known if that match would happen at WrestleMania 41 or if other teams would be involved.

WrestleMania 41 is just ten days away on April 19th & April 20th so everything should be finalized soon and we’ll continue to update here on TJRWrestling as more information becomes available.
