There will be a WWE Women’s Championship presented this week on Smackdown with Asuka receiving the new title.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins recently won the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions when he defeated AJ Styles in the tournament finals.
Last Friday on the June 2nd edition of Smackdown, WWE decided that Roman Reigns carrying around two belts wasn’t necessary anymore, so they presented him with a new, gold title that is called the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Tonight on the June 9th edition of Smackdown, the company is promoting a new Women’s Championship for Asuka, who is currently holding the Raw Women’s Title.
Tonight on SmackDown, Raw Women’s Champion Asuka will have a WWE Women’s Championship Presentation.
The WWE Universe will be waiting with bated breath to see how Asuka reacts and what the new design will look like.

When the draft took place over a month ago, the Raw Women’s Title moved with Bianca Belair to Smackdown while Rhea Ripley took the Smackdown Women’s Title to Raw. It left fans confused as to why the Smackdown title was on Raw while the Raw title was on Smackdown, but apparently, World Wrestling Entertainment had a plan for it. Instead of a title swap as they have done in the past, they are likely going to rename the titles.
Asuka beat Bianca Belair at Night of Champions to end Belair’s 419-day reign as the Raw Women’s Champion.
It was reported by Xero News on June 2nd that WWE had a plan to have the Women’s Titles mirror the Men’s Titles.
