WWE Was Allegedly “Bullied” To Make Jey Uso World Champion

Jey Uso WWE

Jey Uso was World Heavyweight Champion for only 51 days. Fans weren’t too sure why Triple H pulled the plug on his championship run.

Main Event Jey is one of the top babyfaces in the company at the moment. Fans have cheered him on ever since he quit The Bloodline and SmackDown, and moved to WWE RAW.

Fans rallied behind his World Heavyweight Championship run, and his WrestleMania 41 victory over Gunther was a huge milestone in his career.

Jey Uso may not have been WWE’s choice for dethroning Gunther

As much as the storyline showed that The YEET Master was avenging his brother by destroying The Ring General, some questioned the possibility of how he could defeat Gunther.

It so happens that Disco Inferno has a theory about Main Event Jey’s world championship run. Previously, Rikishi had criticized the company following The Ring General dethroning him.

While speaking on K100 with Konnan and Disco Inferno, the duo discussed the WWE Hall of Famer’s influence in the industry and the amount of traction he receives when he talks about his son. As a result, it is possible that Rikishi bullied the company into making Jey Uso the World Heavyweight Champion.

Well, he got a lot. He gets a lot of views when he talks about his kid. He basically bullied them into making him the champion.

Currently, Gunther is in a feud with Goldberg, and will face him in Da Man’s retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
