WWE Warned Against Major Mistake With Seth Rollins & Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will clash at Crown Jewel for the Crown Jewel Championship.
The championship was introduced last year, where the two world champions of each roster battle for the Crown Jewel Championship.
Last year, Cody Rhodes defeated then-World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Since he is still the Undisputed WWE Champion, The American Nightmare will face current World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins needs to be given victories over Cody Rhodes
On Busted Open, TNA’s Nic Nemeth gave his opinion about the situation with The American Nightmare and The Visionary. He seems to believe that there are quite a few storytelling opportunities if Seth Rollins loses. However, The Visionary has lost to The American Nightmare multiple times in the past, and it doesn’t make sense to keep having Rollins lose when the idea is to elevate him as The Visionary, who will change the face of WWE.
In this match, if we’re saying that Seth is the visionary, the architect, the guy that can steal the show with everybody else, and the guy that I was out there with for fifteen straight damn years, being the show of the show, that people watched and went ‘That’s the hard working guys. That’s the real magic. That’s the person going out there, doing the work, and getting on the microphone,’ you need Seth to get the win here. Now if you’re going somewhere special with Seth and Paul, you can find a way around it. But if you have Cody just always having Seth’s number for the next five years, then you’re never truly making Seth. You’re only making a guy who could kind of fill in when Cody’s not around.
