WWE Wanted More From Sick In-Ring Attack

Triple H shouting WWE

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event saw a brutal assault take place but it seems it could have been much worse.

It was a good night for WWE’s champions at Saturday Night’s Main Event in all three title matches. Rhea Ripley retained her Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax before Sheamus failed in his quest to make WWE history as Bron Breakker held on to the Intercontinental Title.

The night’s main event saw Gunther defeat Jey Uso to keep the World Heavyweight Championship around his face but it was another match on the show that had the crowd on their feet.

WWE Called For More Moonsaults

Jacob Fatu faced Braun Strowman in a one-on-one contest and The Samoan Werewolf was unleashed. The match ended when Fatu would not stop attacking Strowman in the corner before he assaulted the match referee. Fatu then nailed Strowman with several moonsaults before referees and his own teammate Tama Tonga was able to calm him down.

But it seems things could have been even worse.

Fightful Select reported that there were calls from backstage for Jacob Fatu to nail even more moonsaults on Braun Strowman to really emphasise his attack as blood spilt from Strowman’s mouth.

Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga are currently the only members of The Bloodline on WWE TV after Solo Sikoa walked out after losing the ula fala to Roman Reigns. Tanga Loa is out of action due to injury and it remains unknown when he’ll be able to return to action.
