How WWE Views Bray Wyatt’s Position On SmackDown

Bray Wyatt

A new report has shed light on how WWE views Bray Wyatt internally amid discussion of him as a potential WrestleMania challenger for Roman Reigns.

Bray Wyatt returned to WWE at Extreme Rules in October 2022 after over a year out of the company following his release from the company in the summer of 2021. He is set for his first televised match back in the company at the Royal Rumble when he takes on LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match.

However, with plans seemingly up in the air over who could potentially face Roman Reigns for his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. Bray Wyatt has not been noted much in those discussions but his position on the SmackDown brand could see that change.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted how Wyatt is viewed on SmackDown but suggests Roman Reigns knows the potential pitfalls of feuding with the star:

“I mean, it’s possible. Bray is considered the number one babyface on SmackDown. He is the biggest-slotted star that Roman has not worked with.”

“But Roman also knows that people who work with Bray always look a lot worse than going in…”

Bray Wyatt recently commented after his spine-tingling moment in the ring with The Undertaker at the 30th anniversary of Raw.
