WWE Viewing Numbers On Netflix Revealed
WWE now has a large presence on Netflix.
On January 6, WWE Raw premiered on Netflix to formally kick off the monster new deal between the streaming platform and the sports entertainment giant. The staggering agreement unveiled in January 2024 is worth $500 million per year for the next ten years, with the option to extend for a further decade.
While the deal meant that Raw is now broadcast on Netflix around the world, all content moved to the platform in places such as the United Kingdom after the WWE Network was closed down.
This means that although SmackDown and NXT are broadcast on the USA Network and CW Network, respectively, and PLEs on Peacock in the U.S., they’re on Netflix elsewhere.
Monday Night Raw Dominates WWE On Netflix
On July 17, Netflix released viewing statistics for the first half of 2025, and that data includes WWE for the first time. In the release, it was confirmed that fans have spent more than 280 million hours viewing content from the sports entertainment giant.
Raw dominated the top of the WWE list, with all episodes appearing within the top 32 positions. Interestingly, the 2025 Royal Rumble was the first non-Raw event on the list, meaning it beat both nights of WrestleMania 41.
Next up were Elimination Chamber, Money In The Bank, and then Night of Champions.
Looking ahead, the company is preparing to host its first-ever two-night SummerSlam on August 2 and August 3. The event is set to be hosted by Cardi B, while Jelly Roll will make his in-ring debut as he teams with Randy Orton to take on Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.
