WWE Veteran Signs New Deal

Triple H WWE bucket of cash

Another WWE star will be sticking with the company.

As reported by Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Nikki Cross has signed a new “multi-year” contract with WWE. Cross initially signed with the company back in 2016 and starred in NXT before moving to the main roster three years later.

Cross enjoyed her most successful run in 2021 as Nikki A.S.H. when she won the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match before pinning Charlotte Flair to become Raw Women’s Champion.

The star found main roster TV time harder to come by in 2023, and she hasn’t wrestled on Raw since November. However, Cross recently re-emerged as part of the Wyatt Sicks and has subsequently featured regularly on the red brand.

The report from Fightful adds that those within the company were full of praise for Cross, while extras noted how welcoming she had been to them in the past.

Kevin Owens’ WWE Future Uncertain

While Nikki Cross will be staying with WWE, Kevin Owens is set to become a free agent in early 2025.

Back in late 2021, Kevin Owens signed a new big-money contract with WWE which tied him to the company for another three years. The deal was said to be the biggest of his career and worth somewhere between $2 and $3 million per year.

However, in a new interview, Owens admitted he’s yet to discuss a new contract meaning — at least in theory, that he could leave WWE in January 2025.
