WWE Veteran Praised For Stepping Up At Recent Event
One WWE star has caught the attention of management.
WWE recently headed to India for its Superstar Spectacle show which saw John Cena return to action for the first time since WrestleMania 39 when he teamed with Seth Rollins to defeat Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
Becky Lynch was originally scheduled to face Zoey Stark on the show but she was refused travel due to a tear in her passport. That left a hole in the card and with only one other women’s match set for the show that meant someone needed to pull double duty and that’s where Natalya came in.
The veteran star was scheduled to face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship but in addition to that she stepped in to face Stark earlier in the night picking up a win before losing to Ripley later on. And Natalya’s actions have not gone unnoticed by WWE management.
Natalya displayed leadership according to WWE management
Fightful Select has reported that Natalya has received heavy praise for stepping up to wrestle twice on the show. It was noted that a triple threat match had been considered which would have seen Zoey Stark inserted into the title match but Natalya made the offer to compete twice. A WWE higher-up noted that her actions displayed leadership and really helped the company out of a tricky situation.
