Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch are involved in a heated feud.

The once women’s tag team champions fell out after Lynch attacked her Irish compatriot on WWE RAW after WrestleMania 41.

Since then, they have been featured in various segments and PLE matches.

At Money in the Bank, Lyra Valkyria lost her Intercontinental Championship to Lynch and was forced to raise her hand aloft in front of the fans.

Amid their chaotic rivalry, former women’s champion Bayley made her presence felt and attacked Lynch for putting her out of her WrestleMania 41 match by attacking her backstage.

The trio later competed at WWE Evolution in a triple threat match for the IC title, but Becky retained her title with a sneaky pinfall on Bayley.

This resulted in Lyra and Bayley competing in a 2/3 falls match, with the winner challenging Becky Lynch for the title at SummerSlam.

To everyone’s surprise, Valkyria beat Bayley clean after losing the first fall.

Bayley May Assist Lyra Valkyria At WWE SummerSlam

The women’s Intercontinental Championship match will be contested at WWE SummerSlam in a No Disqualification, No Countouts match.

This gives license to any wrestler for interference, and according to a former talent, that is what will transpire.

During the latest episode of the REBOOKED Wrestling Podcast, Aiden English predicted a win for Lyra Valkyria with Bayley’s help.

I think you have a really cool moment in this no disqualification scenario, right, its a street fight? So, I think Bayley comes in…I think Bayley maybe drops Becky, but I think she drops Lyra, too. And then, drags Lyra on to Becky, and is like, “I helped you win, but I’m not your friend. I want this title.” [1:16:01 onwards]

Lyra Valkyria became the inaugural Intercontinental Women’s Champion by competing in a month-long tournament from December 2024 to January 2025.
