WWE Veteran Wants To See Logan Paul Prove Himself

Logan Paul

Logan Paul has to put the work in.

At WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul made his in-ring debut alongside The Miz to beat Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

Paul later beat Miz at SummerSlam and kicked off his singles career. However, the star has also been met with his fair share of criticism, with many fans questioning his commitment to wrestling while pointing to his relative lack of matches.

While appearing on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, The Miz discussed how he was the original influencer-turned-wrestler. He went on to explain the similarities between himself and Paul, adding that he needs to continue to prove himself.

“I mean, look what Logan Paul’s doing right now. He’s an outsider, right? Who was the first outsider? Who was the first person that came into this industry and literally nobody wanted because, let’s face it, we’re a pact here.

We’re a family here in wrestling, and nobody comes into our family just to be a 15 minutes of fame. We want to see if you want to earn it. We want to see if you are a mainstay. You’re going to be here. You have the love for this business.

So I had to prove myself to everyone and continue to prove myself to just like Logan Paul is going to continue to have to prove himself each and every time he goes out into that ring.”

Will Logan Paul Become The Best Ever?

While Miz believes Paul will have to keep proving himself and proving he belongs in the ring each time he wrestles, one Hall of Famer thinks he’s already destined for greatness.

During a recent interview, Sgt. Slaughter said he thinks Logan Paul could become the greatest babyface in history. According to the legend, this would see him surpass the likes of Hulk Hogan and Dusty Rhodes.

Paul hasn’t wrestled since losing to John Cena at Clash In Paris on August 31.

On a recent episode of his vlog, Logan Paul sent a blunt message to Triple H, expressing his frustration at his relative lack of action. The YouTube star said he wants to keep working and prove he can become the biggest entertainer in the industry.
