WWE Urged To Have Scarlett Cheat On Karrion Kross In Controversial Angle

Karrion Kross and Scarlett have never split on-screen in WWE.

The Devil You Know’s popularity has been rising in recent months despite not being a regular on WWE television. He recently entered a feud with Sami Zayn.

The two superstars squared off at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Zayn emerged victorious. Last Monday on RAW, Kross attacked the former Intercontinental Champion again backstage.

While Kross’ wife, Scarlett, has always been by his side, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently suggested that WWE split them in a romantic storyline.

Speaking on his Storytime with Dutch Mantell podcast, the 75-year-old emphasized that Creative could approach the idea from different angles, including one that would see Scarlett cheat on Kross with another superstar.

I think it’s gotta be something with him and the girl. That’s what they’re used to seeing. If you can do something like that, and if he just dumps the girl or she dumps him or something.

Give him a story that fans can identify with. Now, everybody can identify with you got a girlfriend and all of a sudden she starts liking or this other guy starts liking her and there’s controversy there.

Fans can identify with that. Or if he treats the girl badly, they can identify with that. Or she could treat him badly and they can identify with that. But I think it has to be something with him and the girl. [1:21:47 onwards]

Karrion Kross And Scarlett’s WWE Contracts Are Set To Expire In August

Karrion Kross and Scarlett returned to the Stamford-based company in 2022. However, their contracts are set to expire next month.

Although they have not yet signed new contracts, the couple is expected to extend their deals, according to a recent report from Fightful Select.

It would be interesting to see what the future holds for Kross and Scarlett in the coming weeks.
