WWE Urged To Pair Paul Heyman With 7-Time Champion

WWE has been urged to put Paul Heyman with a multiple-time champion to try and prove Heyman can actually get stars over.

WWE spent five years trying to get fans to accept Roman Reigns as the beloved face of the company. In 2020, after a short hiatus, Reigns returned with Paul Heyman now by his side. Although Reigns wasn’t beloved by any means, he did become the undisputed number one star in WWE for many years, and a lot of people think Heyman should take a lot of the credit for that.

However, Vince Russo doesn’t.

With Paul Heyman now leading a group featuring Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, who shocked everyone with his recent return after injury, Russo thinks Heyman is sticking by the side of stars who don’t really need him.

Paul Heyman: A Conman & A Liar?

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Vince Russo made his feelings about Heyman very clear and thinks WWE should put him with Johnny Gargano to see if he really does have the magic touch:

This is what I hate about the wrestling business. This is what I hate about the guys that preserve their spot, and they’re workers and conmen and liars and backstabbers, and you are seeing this. I am begging, put Paul [Heyman] with Johnny Gargano. Let Paul get Johnny Gargano over like he got Roman Reigns over, put him with Johnny Gargano, put him with somebody in the middle who could actually use him and let’s see if he can get somebody over.

Not somebody who’s either a) established or b) well on their way to getting over before him. If you don’t see this you’re as blind as a freakin’ bat. This is why I can’t stand the guy, bro.
