WWE Shares Unseen Post-SmackDown Footage (VIDEO)

There was even more action between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk after WWE SmackDown went off the air.

In the main event segment of WWE SmackDown in Bologna, Italy, all that was advertised was that former World Champions Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Seth Rollins would be in the same building at the same time.

Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman) started the segment off by claiming CM Punk screwed him at the Royal Rumble, so last week at the Garden, Reigns screwed Punk. Reigns went on to say that last month at the Rumble, Seth Rollins tried to kill him, but last week at the Garden, he tried to kill Rollins, so that led to “OTC” chants. After his opening statement, Reigns invited anybody to come talk to the Original Tribal Chief aka OTC.

Seth Rollins responded to Reigns by saying Reigns didn’t know how dangerous CM Punk was. Rollins told Reigns that he should have let Rollins finish Punk when Seth had the chance in the Steel Cage Match on Raw. Rollins said this has always been about Reigns and Rollins due to their history with The Shield and everything that has happened since. According to Rollins, they can’t co-exist in the same space at the same time.

When CM Punk showed up, he stood on the turnbuckle with a microphone in hand. Punk told Reigns & Rollins that they had never beaten him without the other one’s help. Punk said that he didn’t screw Reigns because, in the Royal Rumble, it’s every man for himself. Punk told Reigns he saved his family’s ass in WarGames. That also led to Punk reminding Heyman that he owed Punk a favor, but Punk wasn’t calling on it yet.

There was an interesting line as Punk thanked Paul for delivering the Tribal Chief on a silver platter. Reigns looked at Heyman with a peculiar look, so Punk attacked Reigns with a microphone shot to the back of the head.

That led to a chaotic brawl between Punk, Reigns and Rollins that saw them punch each other all around ringside. Reigns even used the steel steps to knock his two rivals down.

All three men also had moments where they pointed at the WrestleMania sign at the same time, which obviously meant they wanted a triple threat match at WWE’s biggest show of the year.

After SmackDown, WWE posted a video on YouTube, its website, and social media showing extra footage from after the show.

The unseen footage was more of the same as Punk broke free to get in some punches on Reigns and then Rollins fought with Punk. Reigns also jumped onto both rivals. There were multiple WWE Producers, Smackdown GM Nick Aldis, referees, and security surrounding Reigns, Rollins, and Punk while trying to break it up. The fans chanted “Mama Mia” for the chaos and there were “CM Punk” chants. The fans also sang the Seth Rollins song. Punk went after Rollins a final time before they were separated.

WWE CCO Triple H Makes Triple Threat Match Official For WrestleMania 41

After SmackDown ended, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H made the Rollins vs. Reigns vs. Punk match official. It will be CM Punk’s first WrestleMania match since 2013 since he was injured during last year’s WrestleMania event and was unable to compete.

All three of these men have dominated our industry…

They have had historic reigns as WWE Champion…

…and they all cannot wait to beat the other on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

It’s not known yet if there will be a title on the line in the match or if it could main event one of the two nights of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
