“WWE: Unreal” Docuseries Gets Release Date

Triple H WWE Netflix

New docuseries “WWE: Unreal” has finally been given a release date.

During WrestleMania weekend, Michael Cole announced the launch of a new documentary called “Unreal” that will take fans behind the scenes like never before.

According to the company, the docuseries will take fans deep inside the writers’ room to show how WWE’s shows and Premium Live Events are put together.

“For the first time ever, step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with your favorite WWE Superstars, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight,”

In a new update from Netflix, it’s been confirmed that “WWE: Unreal” will premiere on July 29. Season one will be made up of five episodes, each clocking in at 50 minutes.

Steve Austin Against New WWE Documentary

During an interview back in May, Steve Austin criticised WWE’s decision to launch the documentary, suggesting that the company had lifted the curtain back too far.

Austin said that, in the same way the process behind magic tricks should remain hidden, some things in pro wrestling should also remain a mystery to the audience.

More recently, a new report has revealed that Steve Austin is open to getting back in the ring for one more match. The WWE legend hasn’t wrestled since beating Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. That match was his first in 19 years.
