WWE Uncovers Never Used CM Punk Title Belt
A championship with CM Punk’s name on it has been shared by WWE for the first time.
The ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) brand became a regular part of WWE on Tuesday nights in the summer of 2006. When the brand launched, they had many wrestlers from the old ECW from the late 1990s and early 2000s, but they also had some new talent. One of those new talents was CM Punk, who made his WWE main roster debut on the ECW brand.
CM Punk was the ECW Champion from September 2007 to January 2008 when Chavo Guerrero beat Punk for the title.
There was a different version of the ECW TItle that was made when Punk had it, but it never saw the light of day. Instead, a brighter purple eagle version of the ECW Title was made and that is what appeared on television.
A video from WWE Vault has been posted where they unveiled the ECW Title that had CM Punk’s name on it, but it never appeared on television.

The WWE version of the ECW brand ended in February 2010.
CM Punk Facing Seth Rollins On WWE Raw’s Netflix Debut
It has been announced that CM Punk will face Seth “Freakin” Rollins on the January 6th episode of Raw in Los Angeles. It’s an episode of Raw that WWE has been hyping up a lot because it’s the company’s debut on Netflix. That match is expected to be the main event of that show.
In addition to Punk-Rollins, Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat Match while Rhea Ripley will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Title. There will likely be more matches announced for the show in the weeks ahead.
