Uncle Howdy won’t be returning to WWE alone.

At the end of the Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal documentary, there was a major hint that Uncle Howdy would be returning to WWE. The character was played by Wyatt’s brother Bo Dallas during the late star’s final run with the company, and he had remained under contract despite being away from the ring.

The tease on the documentary has been followed by several more on television, with QR codes being used to add to the mystery — much like when Wyatt returned to WWE in 2022.

Meanwhile, on May 1st it was reported that Erick Rowan had signed with WWE, sparking speculation he would be involved in the upcoming Uncle Howdy storyline. In a new update from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it was confirmed that Rowan will be back along with several other long-time absent stars.

According to Johnson, the faction will include, Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, and Dexter Lumis.

Alexa Bliss’ Expected WWE Return Not Linked To New Group

Ever since it became clear Uncle Howdy would be returning, many fans expected Alexa Bliss to be involved in those same plans. Bliss has been absent from WWE since January 2023 and gave birth to her first child in November. However, Bliss has been spotted training, seemingly preparing for a comeback.

The omission of Bliss — at least for now, has taken many by surprise given how closely she worked with Bray Wyatt throughout 2020 and 2021.

There is no word on when the former Women’s Champion will be back in action.
