Bryan Danielson Preparing For Two Huge Title Matches
Following a challenge from the AEW World Champion on social media, it’s been announced that Bryan Danielson will face Kazuchika Okada on October 2nd. The special edition of Dynamite will celebrate the show’s fifth anniversary.
In the match, both Okada’s Continental Title and Danielson’s World Championship will be on the line. However, the Continental Title will only be up for grabs during the first 20 minutes of the bout. Matches for the gold are fought under a 20-minute time limit.
Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada have clashed twice in one-on-one matches with the American Dragon defeating The Rainmaker at Forbidden Door 2023 despite suffering a broken arm early in the match. At WrestleKingdom in January 2024, Okada returned the favour by defeating Danielson in the Tokyo Dome.
Should Danielson win, he’ll go on to face Jon Moxley at WrestleDream.
