WWE To Allegedly Fire Triple H For Shocking Reason
Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s latest decision may spell doom for his time in WWE, believes a former employee.
Levesque has served as the company’s Chief Content Officer since September 2022. While the next couple of years received high praise from fans and critics, 2025 has been a disaster.
Not only did 2025 signal the end of John Cena’s illustrious career, but the creative team’s attempt to build storylines around him left everyone else in a lurch.
It resulted in substandard angles, leading to disappointment for viewers. Another issue that bugged people was the soaring ticket prices, which led to a decline in attendance.
On December 13, Cena competed in his final wrestling match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event against Gunther. While the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. was packed to the rafters, Cena’s match outcome caused a furor.
John Cena’s Loss At SNME Could See Triple H Get Fired From WWE
John Cena’s “Never Give Up” is not just a motto, but a lifestyle; at least that’s what it was for many fans, who struggled in everyday life but found comfort in watching Cena appear on wrestling shows.
So, watching him tap out to Gunther’s sleeper hold was the final straw for many.
After the match, a chorus of ‘bulls***’ chants was heard across the arena, which changed to “You f**ked up” when Triple H showed up with the WWE talent and executives.
Former employee Vince Russo predicted that the decision could witness the boss’ ultimate downfall during a recent episode of The Coach & Bro podcast.
I’m gonna make a bold prediction. I think that marked the beginning of the end for Triple H. I’m gonna tell you right now because the people have turned on him, because those boos were not just for the finish of a match. Those boos were for the last year, and the way this entire thing was penned out under his pen and under his guidance, and that’s where the boos were coming from. And that very, very, very well could be the beginning of the end because there has been a turn on Triple H. [33:21 onwards]
