WWE Title Picture Ends In Chaos On SmackDown

Nia Jax WWE Women's Champion

Nia Jax is no wiser over who she will defend her WWE Women’s Title against as one match ended in confusion on SmackDown.

On the first episode of SmackDown back on the USA Network, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax made her presence felt as she sought to make an announcement for her title match at Bad Blood.

However, Jax was soon interrupted by Bayley who wanted a shot at the title she lost back at SummerSlam. Tiffany Stratton soon joined the fray and called Bayley a peasant for begging for a title shot, pointing out that as Ms Money In The Bank, that was something she didn’t have to do.

Naomi made her way to the ring and clearly wanted a shot at the gold which gave Nia Jax an idea. Jax suggested a match to see who would challenge her for the title at Bad Blood but the stakes were even higher than that.

Naomi and Bayley accepted a tag team match where if either of them pinned Jax or Stratton they would get the shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. However, Jax revealed after the bout was made that if Bayley or Naomi lost then they would be banished from SmackDown forever.

No Challenger Emerges For WWE Women’s Title

After SmackDown GM Nick Aldis made the match a tornado tag team match, it meant all four women could do battle at the same time and that led to confusion when the match was over.

Both Bayley and Naomi ended up pinning Nia Jax simultaneously with the referee counting the fall. As a result, the only thing for sure was that neither Bayley nor Naomi were going to be forced off SmackDown.

Nick Aldis quickly addressed the situation by making a one-on-one match between Naomi and Bayley to take place on the 27th of September edition of SmackDown and the winner of that will face Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Title at Bad Blood.
