A championship match has been added to the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event lineup in Tampa.

The next edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on Saturday, May 24th, in Tampa, Florida.

It’s part of three straight nights of WWE shows at the Yuengling Center, with SNME on Saturday, NXT Battleground on Sunday, and Raw on Monday. NXT was also supposed to take place there on Tuesday, but WWE canceled it due to low ticket sales, and it will be in Orlando at the Performance Center instead.

Prior to WWE SmackDown in Savannah, four official matches were set for Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, a fifth match was added based on the show’s events.

Zelina Vega is the Women’s United States Champion, and she was in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on SmackDown. Unfortunately, Vega lost to Giulia in the match that also featured Charlotte Flair. After the match, Chelsea Green and her Secret Hervice friends Alba Fyre and Piper Niven mocked Vega.

During a tag team match involving Michin and B-Fab against Fyre and Niven, Green tried to interfere to help her friends, but that’s when Vega showed up to stop that. It was revenge for Vega after Green attacked Vega in the backstage area. Michin and B-Fab went on to win because Vega got involved.

Later on SmackDown, it was officially announced that Zelina Vega will defend the Women’s US Title against Chelsea Green at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24th in Tampa. Vega beat Green to win the title, so it’s a championship rematch.

What Is The Full Lineup For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event?

Five matches will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa on May 24th, which will air on NBC & Peacock for fans in the US and WWE’s YouTube channel internationally. Two of those matches will be title matches, while there’s also a Steel Cage Match and a huge tag team match.

* World Heavyweight Championship: Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul

* Women’s United States Championship: Zelina Vega vs. Chelsea Green

* Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk & Sami Zayn

* Steel Cage Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest

* John Cena vs. R-Truth

Even though John Cena is the Undisputed WWE Championship, his match against R-Truth will not be a title match. That’s likely because Truth hasn’t won enough matches recently to earn a title shot.
