Huge WWE Title Match Made For First Raw Of 2026
The first Raw of 2026 is going to take place on January 5 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
It has already been announced that CM Punk will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against his rival, Bron Breakker, on the show.
Punk won the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November after defeating Jey Uso in a singles match.
This bout will mark Punk’s first title defense since becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.
On this week’s RAW, WWE added another bout to the first RAW of 2026 match card.
The Kabuki Warriors will put their Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
The two teams have been at each other’s throats ever since IYO SKY ditched Asuka and Kairi Sane to side with The Eradicator.
They already had a tag match at Crown Jewel, which RHIYO won. They also fought each other at Survivor Series in the women’s WarGames match.
Rhea Ripley Will Face Asuka Next Week On WWE RAW
On the December 15 edition of RAW, Ripley and SKY had a segment with Asuka and Sane, where the WWE Universe saw The Kabuki Warriors attack their rivals as they made their entrance.
Asuka sprayed her signature deadly poison mist on Rhea’s face, and IYO also got a solid beating.
Later, a backstage segment showed Ripley getting medical aid from the doctors.
After that, she approached RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and asked him to give her a singles match with Asuka. Pearce made it official for next week.
The two stars have locked horns with each other before. Rhea Ripley beat Asuka to win the Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 37.
