WWE Title Change On The Horizon
WWE could be about to make a title switch.
At the 2025 Royal Rumble, Charlotte Flair will make her long-awaited return to action. Vignettes hyping the star’s comeback have been appearing on television for several weeks, and this was followed by the announcement that she’ll be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Flair hasn’t wrestled since suffering a major knee injury in a match on SmackDown against Asuka in December 2023. Incidentally, Asuka has also been sidelined for over seven months with a knee injury of her own.
As she stands on the brink of her first match in over 13 months, it seems WWE has big plans for its Queen.
Charlotte Flair To Make Big Splash On WWE Return
According to a new report from Wrestle Votes, not only will Flair’s new presentation lean heavily into her family roots, she could be heading for championship gold.
With Charlotte Flair set to return this weekend, a source says her presentation will fully embrace her Flair family legacy with a “Top Girl” attitude and “flare” to her character. There’s also talk of championship gold coming her way sooner rather than later.
While there’s no word on which title the star could be chasing, it’s been reported that a WrestleMania match between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton has been discussed — Stratton is the current Women’s Champion.
With regard to comments that Flair will return with a “Top Girl” attitude, merchandise with the slogan is already being sold on WWE’s online clothing store.
Meanwhile, a separate report has claimed that a major WWE star is also in town for the Royal Rumble, sparking speculation they’ll also be back in action.
