WWE’s Tiffany Stratton Enjoys Pushing Back Against Stereotypes
Tiffany Stratton is happy proving her doubters wrong.
It has been about one year since Tiffany Stratton became a WWE SmackDown superstar after a successful run in NXT. Since that time, Stratton became Miss Money in the Bank and then she became the WWE Women’s Champion on the first SmackDown episode of the year.
As the weeks have gone on, Stratton’s popularity has grown with fans chanting “Tiffy Time” for the confident champion, who is still as brash as ever, but she’s also earned the respect of the fans.
Stratton is one of the youngest women on the WWE main roster at 25 years old and she’s only been wrestling on TV for just over three years. She also knows what the perception is of somebody who looks like her.
In an interview with Inside The Arena, Tiffany Stratton is proud of who she is as a WWE superstar who shows that a pretty blonde can kick ass in the ring too.
“Yeah, I definitely feel like, you know, being a blonde, young 25-year-old girl, like, you’re gonna have people who, you know, judge you by just looking at you, and we have so many beautiful girls down at NXT, and I think it’s really cool to kind of be able to back it up in the ring and showcase, you know, the flips, the tricks, the slams, and all the stuff that I do in the ring.
I think it’s really cool to kind of disregard those preconceived notions about like the pretty girls in WWE and stuff like that. So we can definitely kick ass and take names these days.”
Tiffany Stratton Defending WWE Women’s Title On SmackDown
Since winning the WWE Women’s Title on the first SmackDown episode of the year, Tiffany Stratton has successfully defended her title against former champion Bayley.
Stratton will also be in action on the Valentine’s Day edition of SmackDown against the former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, who was an ally of Stratton for most of 2024. The lineup for SmackDown in Washington, D.C. looks like this:
- Tiffany Stratton defends WWE Women’s Title against Nia Jax
- Damian Priest, Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu collide in huge Triple Threat Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
- Naomi battles Chelsea Green in Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
- Solo Sikoa returns to SmackDown
As for her current reign as WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton has teased modifying the title to make it pink just like she was holding the Money in the Bank briefcase.
