Rising WWE Ticket Prices Are A Hot Topic In The Locker Room

WWE ticket prices are a hot topic backstage.

In recent months, WWE has come under increasing fire for continually increasing ticket prices. This shift has come in the form of continual rises across all live events, televised shows, and Premium Live Events.

In response, fans have blasted the company for pricing out families, believing the changes are nothing more than greed.

Even Randy Orton admitted that ticket prices for WrestleMania 41 were “embarrassing.”

Interestingly, it seems that the growing fan frustration hasn’t gone unnoticed by those in the ring. As noted by former WWE star Scarlett Bordeaux in a recent appearance on The Coach And Bro Show, the wrestlers are well aware of the company’s policy change and the impact it’s also had on their families.

When asked whether wrestlers talked about the growing prices backstage, her answer was simple.

“Constantly. We noticed it also with the comp tickets. We used to have no issues in different cities if we wanted to get comp tickets for friends and family. There were tickets that we were told were going to be approved and then last minute — we were told that the comp tickets were available, and day of there’s no tickets for people. But they’re deciding to sell them instead.

So, like, little things like that we would notice.

We noticed the ticket prices going higher, the fans would tell us. But it was definitely a topic of discussion amongst the locker room.”

Nick Khan Defends WWE Ticket Prices

Meanwhile, WWE President Nick Khan has dismissed the criticism, stating that the company remains “bullish” on pricing. He suggested that WWE has simply remained in line with the marketplace and isn’t exploiting fans.

Khan also highlighted the increase in international events and how that’s impacted things in North America.

“We’ve increased prices appropriately with the marketplace. That’s for the PLEs, Raw, SmackDown, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and every other ticketed program that WWE has. We remain bullish on it…

In January, you’ll see us on a European tour for Raw and SmackDown, leading into Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Tickets already on fire for that event and it creates more scarcity in the United States, which is a good thing in terms of our overall gauge.”

Khan was speaking after WWE reported a $31.4 million increase in live event and hospitality revenue in the third quarter of 2025.
