WWE Thrilled With Night Of Champions Viewership

It would seem the numbers for the latest WWE premium live event will have kept company management extremely happy.

WWE once again made the trip to Saudi Arabia for a star-studded event when they presented Night Of Champion 2023 this past weekend. The card was headlined by a triple main event, with the top of the bill clash ending up being Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens successfully defending the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, when The Bloodline imploded.

The events are clearly highly successful for WWE, with large stadium attendances in a market which only receives shows a handful of times a year. There has also been a shift to moving events to around holiday seasons to increase viewership, and that seems to be working as well.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, WWE is happy with its performance on bank holiday weekends, with Night Of Champions receiving the highest viewership of any show the organization has run in Saudi Arabia. The report also notes that the viewership was up 18% compared to Crown Jewel 2022.

All roads now lead to the next premium live events, which will take place in the United Kingdom at the beginning of July for Money In The Bank, followed by SummerSlam at the start of August. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will be appearing on both events, and has had his schedule of appearances for the next few months confirmed.
