WWE Higher Up Has Specific Praise For Each Judgment Day Member

The Judgment Day group continues to thrive on WWE Raw with a higher up in the company providing some perspective on the group.

For more than one year, The Judgment Day has been a dominant force on WWE Monday Night Raw. They were originally formed coming out of WrestleMania 38 in 2022 with Edge bringing in Damian Priest as the first current start of the group. Soon after that, Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor joined.

What happened next was something that a lot of people didn’t expect as the trio of Priest, Ripley and Balor turned on Edge. That would lead to a yearlong rivalry between Edge and the group he formed.

In September 2022, Dominik Mysterio turned on his legendary father Rey Mysterio and Edge to join The Judgment Day. Dominik has thrived since then and is also an on-screen couple with the WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley these days.

A new report from Fightful Select has shed some light on how WWE views The Judgment Day as a group while noting that WWE is “over the moon” about the group while noting that even Edge admitted that the group is better off without him.

Regarding Finn Balor, the WWE higher up that spoke to Fightful noted that he was “very easy” to work with and has performed in a variety of different roles as an experienced, main event level performer in the group.

Rhea Ripley was praised for working through her knee issues when she wasn’t wrestling as often. She was also praised for her willingness to improve and be a manager of sorts for the guys in the group when she’s needed in that role. There have also been situations where she could be dominant in a match, but she’s happy to give her opponent more offense.

As for Damian Priest, his work ethic has been praised heavily. Priest’s outstanding match with Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny at Backlash in May was also praised. That was originally going to be a tag team match, but the company felt comfortable with Priest-Bunny in singles due to the work ethic of both men.

Dominik Mysterio is the least experienced wrestler in the group, but he is improving a lot. Dominik has recently had to do a lot more media obligations due to the success of his new character which draws a lot of boos from the crowd. It was also mentioned that WWE has put Dominik in a variety of situations against different opponents to get him used to working with different people.

The Judgment Day has a busy week ahead going into Money in the Bank on July 1st. Finn Balor will challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title, Damian Priest will be in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and Dominik Mysterio faces Cody Rhodes with “Mami” Rhea Ripley at Dom’s side as usual.
