Popular WWE Team On Verge Of Split: “Everything Is Not Okay!”
WWE Tag Team Championship for bust.
Things haven’t been going well for the Street Profits, and they are not happy.
For years, Montez Ford has been linked with a split from Angelo Dawkins and a singles run all the way to the main event. However, the pair remain together, now with B-Fab in tow, looking to end a drought of almost four years without the tag team titles.
To add to the speculation, Montez Ford recently opened up about his real-life frustration in an interview, even if Booker T thinks he needs to step things up.
On the November 15th episode of SmackDown, the Street Profits will challenge the Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Team Titles, but it seems there’s something bigger on the line.
Everything Hinges On WWE SmackDown
During the SmackDown Lowdown, Ford decided it was time to address the “elephant in the room,” and directly discussed the frustration surrounding the Profits and B-Fab. The star added that on SmackDown it’s tag team gold or bust after discussing Bobby Lashley’s move to AEW.
“Lets address the elephant in the room, there’s a lot of frustration between the Street Profits and B-FAB. Earlier this year, we joined forces with another member, and they decided to go and do their own plans, so it left the Street Profits and B-FAB to pick up the scraps and find ourselves all over again, all in the midst of that drought, losing ourselves.
At once we knew who we were, then we lost who we were, and at the same time we still don’t know who are, at this moment right now.
Four years of drought. No WWE Tag Team Championship, not in the conversation with everybody. For us to walk around happy, still putting smiles on everybody’s faces, walking around like everything is okay, when everything is not okay Byron!
Next week, it changes. We stamp ourselves once again. We put ourselves in every single conversation. That’s on everything. That’s on momma, that’s on the hood, that’s on the world, on God, we taking home the gold. That’s how confident we are right now, that’s how serious we are right now.
Next week, it’s WWE Tag Team Championship or bust. That’s it. There’s no other option. There’s no plan B, plan A, that’s it.”
Elsewhere on the show, Nia Jax will defend her Women’s Title against Naomi. The challenger hasn’t held WWE singles gold since 2017.
The blue brand is still reeling from the latest brawl between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, which ended with KO laying out The Viper with a Piledriver. The move has been banned in WWE for the best part of 20 years. In a new update on social media, WWE noted Orton has suffered “cervical cord neurapraxia.”
