WWE Taping Multiple NXT Episodes To End 2022

The WWE NXT brand will be doing some taped episodes to wrap up 2022 instead of going live every week.

As regular WWE NXT viewers know, the third brand in WWE is normally a live show on Tuesday nights on USA Network in the United States. NXT tapings take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. They used to go to Full Sail University for several years, but that changed after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

It’s a busy week for the NXT brand with the Deadline Premium Live Event taking place this Saturday, December 10th featuring the first two Iron Survivor Challenge matches in WWE history. One match will feature five men and the other match will feature five women.

Following Deadline, NXT will have a live episode of NXT on Tuesday, December 12th. It has been reported by PWInsider that the next two episodes of NXT will be taped on Wednesday, December 13th followed by a live event again on January 3rd, which could be the New Year’s Evil event that NXT usually does.

That means the next four weeks of NXT television will look like this:

Tuesday, December 12th – Live.

Tuesday, December 19th – Taped on Wednesday, December 13th.

Tuesday, December 26th – Taped on Wednesday, December 13th.

Tuesday, January 3rd – Live.

By doing this, it will give some of the NXT talent and staff some time off during the holiday season to end 2022.

The NXT Deadline Premium Live Event takes place this Saturday, December 10th with this lineup:

* NXT Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Apollo Crews

* Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match: Carmelo Hayes vs. JD McDonagh vs. Grayson Waller vs. Joe Gacy vs. Axiom

* Women’s Iron Survivor Series Challenge Match: Zoey Stark vs. Cora Jade vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James vs. Indi Hartwell

* NXT Tag Team Championships: Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince) (c) vs. The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston)

* Alba Fyre vs. Isla Dawn

You can watch NXT Deadline on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8 ET/5 PT streaming exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network everywhere else.
