WWE Holds Talks On International Money In The Bank
A new report has given a huge update on the future of WWE Money In The Bank.
In recent years, WWE has been keen to conquer new territory by hosting several of its Premium Live events around the world. This has seen PLE’s land in England, Scotland, Germany, Puerto Rico, Wales, Australia, and France, while the company’s relationship with Saudi Arabia has continued to expand.
As a result of this ever-growing relationship, Saudi Arabia will host the 2026 Royal Rumble.
One of the biggest events to ever be held outside of North America was the 2023 edition of Money In The Bank, which came live from London, England. The show took place in Canada the following year, and it could have an international flavour again in 2025.
WWE Money In The Bank Could Go International
On the latest edition of SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Q&A, Wrestle Votes reported that talks had been held about holding Money In The Bank outside of North America yet again. However, the report stressed that no decisions have been made.
“So, in an update from this week’s show with Bill Apter here on Tuesday night’s backstage pass, we can confirm WWE has had discussions of hosting this year’s Money in the Bank from an international location in early July. However, our source states nothing is said at this time.
Currently on the books for WWE internationally include a Saudi Arabia date in June, as well as the Clash in Paris PLE announced for August that WrestleMania broke last week.”
On January 29, WWE announced the first-ever Clash In Paris, following on from the success of Backlash 2024 in Lyon. The new event at the Paris La Défense Arena will take place on August 31, with Raw coming from the same venue 24 hours later.
